Desired (Book #5 in the Vampire Journals)

Desired (Book #5 in the Vampire Journals)

She’s always there, ready to split us apart. But I’m getting ahead of myself. I need to take a step back, to figure out how this all began. How I even got here in the first place. It all started in New York. New York, my God. It feels like a thousand lifetimes ago. I was just a normal, typical teenager, living with a mom who didn’t like me, and who I didn’t like either, and with an annoying little brother, who I loved. But, of course, nothing was normal. I was a hybrid, or so I would learn. A half-breed. Half human, half vampire. And coming of age at exactly the wrong time.

Vampire's Pet

Vampire's Pet

Even without the meteor shower, that night would have been fun. I felt a lot of things that I hadn't felt in a very long time. Things that I didn't even realize that I missed. And some things that I probably would be better off if I ignored. But, for now, I was sitting on my side of Nico's bed, looking through one of the books he had on vampire history as he sat on his side, looking through a book of his own. Of course, I had read about vampire history when I was in school, but none of them were from a vampiric author. Which really made a difference.

Vampire's Love

Vampire's Love

I folded my hands across my chest and frowned at him in both confusion and annoyance. "Stop-just-" Alex huffed in frustration before covering his face with his hands and letting out a sigh in exasperation. I was about to say something else too but stopped when I heard a few girls groan and my eyes snapped towards the crowd. I noticed Joey, Franklin, danny and other vampires digging their fangs into the girls neck, sucking them hungrily and I could feel my eyes widening at the sight. They were doing it in public? Why? It was already getting dark, we were supposed to go home.

Turned (Book #1 in the Vampire Journals)

Turned (Book #1 in the Vampire Journals)

Too awfully, incredibly real. She could’ve just dismissed them as a group of completely crazy people, as some weird cult or society that was completely delusional. But after all that had happened in the last 48 hours, she actually found herself thinking twice. Her own strength. Her own behavior. The way she felt her body changing. Could vampires be true? Was she one of them? Had she stumbled into the middle of some kind of vampire war? That would be just her luck.

Vampire High

Vampire High

Because it is not obvious to her that age, he can be mistaken for 17 years old. Anyway, she's a pure vampire after all. “Why do you think the class was suspended?” I asked and sat down on the sofa. "They're getting ready for National Vampire High." She replied so I frowned. "What's that?" I asked. "An event here at Vampire high that only happens every lunar eclipse." She said and looked at me as he floated. "You're lucky because there will be an eclipse tomorrow and you'll be included in NVH. Do you know that it was very cool." She said so I frowned.

The Vampire's Intern

The Vampire's Intern

“You think I’m crazy, but that’s the only explanation that makes sense.” I scoffed. “You sound like a conspiracy theorist. Vampires don’t exist, and you’ve got to stop reading all those fantasy books.” Before she could say anything else, I grabbed another slice of toast and breezed out of the apartment. My condolences to the victims, but vampire attacks were just so stupidly unrealistic. Like creatures of the night actually existed. Right, sure. “Mr. Vale’s not in right now.” Celine said at the reception, looking me up and down.

A Vampire's Bargain

A Vampire's Bargain

He enlightened her. "Breed? There are breeds? Aren't you all the same?" Adrianna was dumbfounded to know that vampires have different breeds. He got up and went to grab a book from his shelves, and hand a heavy book to Adrianna. "This will help you because I am not good at explaining things and facts." Said Alaric. Her palms touched the cover of the book which looked antique and royal. She read the title 'Vamoose', called Vampire in latin. "You didn't tell me you have kids." Alaric asked her.

Vampire Queen (Book 2 Vampire Witch Trilogy)

Vampire Queen (Book 2 Vampire Witch Trilogy)

As I gazed upon the delicate and colorful bone china -laden with a myriad of intricately sculpted puddings, fruits, and vegetables- lining the center of the table and the gold trimmed goblets awaiting fresh, robust blood, I thought any royal table in the land would pale in comparison. I was surprised to discover that vampires in Vampire Land were also vegetarians. The fact that they insisted on human blood lured me into the trap of believing the fallacies and folklore that vampires survived solely on blood. I don’t know why I thought that. After all, Verso vampires ate a vegetarian diet as well as animal blood, so why wouldn’t the vampires of Vampire Land eat vegetarian along with human bl

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Contract Marriage with the Vampire

Hope nodded, taking a deep breath before leaving with Florence who promised to have her back soon. Faith gave the room a quick tidy, much to the displeasure of Lizzie the maid who caught her in the act, playfully scolding her. Whilst Lizzie changed the bed, Faith went to the library to the section she hadn't been brave enough to explore yet. Vampires. The central wall was covered in books about them, constantly playing on Faith's mind as she read. Until then, she hadn't given into her curiosity, but given the light of recent situations she couldn't hold off any longer. Marching into the room, thankfully empty as usual, she waltzed straight up to the centre display and started climbing the go

Cursed Blood

Cursed Blood

Maybe I should do my independent research without my vampire guru this time. I tossed the books on my bed when I reached home. Mom was going to be real late tonight for she had a night shift at the hospital. I would read about vampires for once and for all. Then I snatched one of the nearest books and began skimming it on my bed. One book was about the history, origins and other general information about vampires, and also another was all about the folkloric tales and legends of various cultures and places. Only a few pages mentioned about the children of vampires and humans. And of course, they were exactly what Cammie had told me. I slammed the book shut.

Frequently Asked Questions

Vampire books for young adults? Oh, absolutely! There's this whole subgenre that exploded after 'Twilight' hit the scene, but let me tell you, it goes way beyond sparkly vampires. One of my all-time favorites is 'The Coldest Touch' by Isabel Sterling—it's got this perfect blend of queer romance and vampire lore, with a protagonist who can see death omens. The emotional depth is unreal, and the way it handles grief alongside the supernatural feels so fresh.

Then there's 'Vampire Academy' by Richelle Mead, which is like if boarding school drama met vampire politics. It’s addictive, with a strong female lead and a world that feels lived-in. And don’t even get me started on 'The Beautiful' by Renée Ahdieh—it’s set in 1872 New Orleans, dripping with atmosphere and mystery. The vampires here are elegant and dangerous, and the historical twist makes it stand out. If you’re into something darker, 'House of Hunger' by Alexis Henderson is a recent gem with gothic vibes and a bloody, seductive plot. Honestly, the YA vampire scene is thriving right now, and these books prove it.
