I pull my hand out, causing the vampire to fold into himself and roll to the side. I waste no time in scrambling up and jumping on the vampire. I slash at him, alternating my left and right hands. I slash more and more until there’s nothing left but flash and black tar-like blood. “Baby, are you okay?” I turn to see Vonte walking toward me. Beyond him is the vampire that was in front of Abe. They bared their fangs and hissed in May's direction. The elderly wolf's heart pummeled against her ribs, as her thick ten digits were lifted above her head in sign of surrender. A vampire with black pupils and bald scalp covered in tattoos approached May. He smiled in her face with blackened teeth, causing May to swirl a bit of saliva which had gathered in her mouth, and expel it onto his face. The vampire wiped his cheek then his eyebrows furrowed in malice before his fist met May's temple, rendering her unconscious.

I caught sight of a tattoo… a silver viper etched into his skin, glistening in the low light. I let my fingers trace the design, the coolness of the ink contrasting with the heat radiating from his body. Mason watched me, his intense gaze flickering as I danced, my ass grinding against his growing arousal. Shit, this reminded me of what we did during the Howling Night…

I nodded, “Why haven’t you eaten? There’s plenty of blood on campus.” The spell wore off and they both sat up and sipped another bag of blood as we talked. I have to admit, now that their color and eyes are back to normal, both vamps are gorgeous. A little skinnier than I like, but still gorgeous. Vince has short brown hair. His eyes are so dark they are almost black. He has weird tattoos on both of his forearms that I’m sure there is a story behind.

I flinched at his tone. "Why are you always so careless?" he muttered before rolling up his sleeves. I was too weak to say anything. Suddenly, he bite his wrist and held it out to me. I stared at him in shock. "Lick it . You will be fine." He stated, inching closer to me as I look in horror. "No, No! I don't want to be a vampire!" I yelled, crawling to the corner. Drinking blood from a pure blood will turn me into a vampire!

We aren’t strong enough! Frustration surges through me, and the vampire chuckles above me, smiling into my face. “Are those tears?” He drags a finger underneath my eyes, collecting a single tear. “It is...” his scary smile widens. “That’s lovely: I love it when my victims are terrified. It makes the blood taste even sweeter!”

I needed to do something about that tattoo, it could put me in a lot of trouble. “It’s just a tattoo.” His finger went into my mouth before my teeth could block it out and my tongue instinctively wrapped around it, my eyelids getting heavier. “Keep telling yourself that. Now be a good girl and run along, I’m just Mr. Sloane and you’re just Jade Rivers.” I had no complaints. I would’ve stopped his finger from escaping the rash reins of my teeth—since I know werewolf teeth to be sharper—but I let go, craving more of him from that simple taste.

Her figure darts off towards the source of the aura and pounces on a vampire man surreptitiously preying on a maiden in the road. Samantha grapples him under the bushes by the road and ruthlessly satisfies her savage nature. She brutally scratches his body several times with her sharp nails, allowing the blood to spurt everywhere, and once she has enough of it, she kneels down above him and tears the veins on his neck with a single yet violent bite. Samantha is spectacularly powerful. That vampire man doesn't even get an opportunity to resist. His body receives countless deep cuts and loses his life almost instantly. And his body burns into ashes and disappears.

He took a step forward, and the man stumbled back in fear. "You...you're a vampire," the man stuttered. Steve bared his teeth, his eyes gleaming in the darkness. "And you're in my territory," he said. The man turned and ran, disappearing into the shadows. Steve turned back to Celess, his eyes returning to their normal color.

They brought their mates from all over the place to the castle, and I was forced to take care of them all. The vampire girl opened her eyes wide to lie because she understood the eyes were the windows to the soul. If she didn't look directly at Harvey, he would immediately suspect.
