Blood was still running down my wrist and mixed with the rain and he noticed immediately, he removed his white silk handkerchief from his coat and came closer to me. “I'm fine,” I said quickly. “No, you're not.” Before I could say a word he took my hand. His fingers were cool and steady, it felt too familiar for someone I had just met. He wrapped the handkerchief around my wrist carefully and tied it tight enough to stop the bleeding. “What's your name?” He asked. “Elena” He looked at me “Elena.. What?” “Elena Hart.” And he slowly said “Elena Hart” like he was trying to remember it.

Well… he didn’t pity his soon-to-be wife’s brother as the rumors say that he was a Lycan. From what he knew, when his mother died, his father found his second mate which was an extremely rare thing to happen for any werewolf. But as his father was the king of all the werewolf packs he needs a Luna. So, he married his present wife. And it was said that Adira was the daughter of the present Luna, Serene Adolphine. Well, Adolphine is her maiden name. she still carries that name without changing it. Everyone finds it weird but no one has the guts to question her due to the power she holds.

It looks like they were the only ones worried. "Let's cut to the chase. What do you ladies want?" Silence. "Listen kid, we jus-" "Ethel. My name is Ethel Cross!" "Sorry." I have no idea why the old woman had to apologize! Ethel, that was rude of you! "You were saying?" "It was just recently that I and Dorothea realised about you girls." "Rose is right. It was on the day the Hudson parents died. We realised you were all vampires."

He couldn’t face one more loss, but his bride, his only bride that he almost lost himself, stood alone and vulnerable, facing enemy vampires. Taking up position next to her, he looked down at Lydia’s headless corpse. The vampire that killed her held her head aloft, ululating in the night sky. And Aster was angry. He didn’t need the bond to know this. She looked at Rowan, her eyes filling with tears, then back at the mad vampire. “Who are you?” she asked softly. “I am Cyrus’s oldest son. Daniel” She nodded slowly, and Declan’s insides turned to water. Her eyes were cold, dead. “We told you to go home.”

With reverence, he began to recite the sacred vows that would bind Gabby and me together in holy matrimony. "Gabriella Gomez, do you take Kyra Wilder to be your lawfully wedded wife, to have and to hold, from this day forward, for better or for worse, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health, to love and to cherish, until death do you part?" "I do," Gabby's voice, filled with emotion, rang out clear and resolute, her eyes locked with mine, a silent promise etched in their depths.

It also mentions some of the famous vampires such as Vlad Tepes or what everyone likes to call Dracula, the Countess Elizabeth Bathory, Mercy Brown, Arnold Paole, Peter Plogojowitz, Richard Trenton Chase, and others. I didn't notice time passing until a knock on the door got me off guard. '' Come in! '' I shouted. "You don't have to scream you know, I can even hear the beat of your hearts how about a whisper from you.'' exclaimed Elijah, and I was dumbfounded for a while '' Did you just knock on the door'' I asked, and he laughed '' And this is all you noticed so far?'' '' Yeah, you never knock, nor walk from the door.

I gasped incredulously, scurrying away from him and trying to put as much distance as possible between us, "How did you even get past the gates!?" He blinked, taken aback, his lips were parted slightly. I wasn't falling for his trick, though. I had read many murder mystery novels and they all had one thing in common; a handsome lunatic who also happened to be a stalker. "Stay away from me! I'm not an ordinary wolf you know," I raised my chin in mock confidence, "I'm a selected bride of the Lycan King."

The vampires that came in looked different, each one had their own personality, some looked happy to be here, others were very calm, I had to ask them all the same questions and listen to their answer as I checked their background check. "So tell me what's your name?" I asked each one that came in, it's the first question on my list and I was here listening to their different answers as they blended. "Darjin Veleburs," "Alex," "Katalina," " Calesti Lakair," "How old are you?" I asked next, we don't want very old vampire, or maybe we don't want extremly young ones, I wasn't sure what we're looking for, I'll have to check with Logan, I thought to myself as they all answered me.
