Vash The Stampede Glasses Novels & Stories

I shoved a few people out of my way as I hurried toward the distant fight. As I turned the corner to where the fight was, I arrived just in time for the enchanted glasses to be knocked off Khalid’s face, the glamor fading away to reveal his true face as one of the vampires from Tulio’s nest punched him as two others held him in place. Well shit. Maybe he should have enchanted something that couldn’t be easily knocked off. I knew in an instant they recognized him as the wanted hunter.

Chapter 6: Splintered Glass The shockwave from Veyron’s cursed entry exploded through Thalen’s suite, turning every windowpane into a glittering storm of razor-sharp shrapnel. "Look out!" Zeyric yelled, throwing his shoulder into Thalen’s chest to drive them both hard against the mahogany desk as a hail of glass shards embedded itself into the wall behind them. "Get off me!" Thalen snapped, even as his fingers instinctively locked around Zeyric’s wrist to haul him back to his feet.

Maybe some running will do me good, he mused as Zack got up from his makeshift bed—naked as he was born—and went to the lake’s edge. Zack washed his face. He stared at his reflection in the water. He noticed that his blue eyes were glowing, an immediate sign that Zane was close to the surface. Zack needed to be in control that night so that his wolf would not be running berserk when he went out for a run. He shifted on the run—as Zack usually did—when he had nothing to lose. His black fur slid through his skin as his jaws elongated into a muzzle. A howling escaped from his mouth as Zack shook his body.

He says before bending down and picking me up out of the car. He runs at werewolf speed towards the safe house, the howls and growls of shifters fighting reaches our ears. I put my head into Euan’s chest and the tears fall down my cheeks, flashbacks coming one right after the other.

It made her stand out. I was surprised to see she wore glasses. Photochromic lenses obscured her eyes, but they seemed to be the most interesting shade of bluey green. Said glasses didn’t appear to be a prop or some fashion statement either. They seemed to be corrective lenses. What the fuck? Wolves didn’t suffer declines in vision.

One strike from him sent a man literally flying into the window. Vladislav's eyes met mine, cold and commanding. I nodded at him to go and he sighed. I could tell he didn't want to leave. Anatoly yelled from the comms. "GO! Valencia, Cover him." Vladislav turned, he grabbed a chair and smashed a tall window in, the glass shattered around like fragments of ice before he rolled through. Gun in hand.

The interior was equipped with a suite of non-invasive sensors that allowed Anya to monitor the biological signatures of anyone within a twenty-foot radius. For Kaelen 'Wraith' Vance, a Rezvani Tank 'Vengeance'. This tactical SUV was the definition of brute force. Finished in a non-reflective 'phantom grey,' it featured thermal night vision, electromagnetic pulse protection, and a smoke screen system. Kaelen had added a custom weapon rack and a reinforced chassis for high-speed extraction missions.

Matteo’s POV The static in my ears was turning into a series of sharp, rhythmic pulses that made the air feel like it was vibrating against my skin, and every time I blinked the colors of the room shifted until the shadows looked like deep purple bruises and the light from the monitors was a blinding, electric blue. My eyes felt tight and itchy in their sockets and when I caught my reflection in a dark screen I saw that the brown of my iris had vanished completely and was replaced by a glowing, unnatural sapphire color that didn't look human anymore.

"Then stop shaking and start hacking. Find the source of that override. Burn his fucking relays. I’m going to get my vanguard." I turned and sprinted for the private lift. The heavy blue diamond on my finger flashed like a cold, vengeful star.

"That’s my company! Those are my people! You can't do this to me!" However, the bulletproof glass didn't even crack; instead, it was Bastian’s hand that began to bleed. Red stains smeared across the clear glass, a symbol of his ruin. Down below, he almost felt he could see the figure of Casandra standing tall behind the William Group’s glass doors, gazing toward his building with a cold smile of victory.
