Tears Of Agony

Tears Of Agony

"Ismael Kiplimo!" He witnessed a shocked frightened look in her eyes. A shock of realization. Tears welled up in her eyes. It was obvious she was going to cry. She shrank down the couch and lowered her eyes covering them with a leso and broke into tears. She shamelessly cried like a little kid. Mary crossed over to comfort her. "Don't cry sis. It is alright."

Veiled Obsession

Veiled Obsession

“You’ve always been.” Her lips trembled as her gaze met his once more, a universe of unspoken feelings swirling within their depths. Tears welled in her eyes—not born of sadness, but of release and revelation, shimmering like stars ready to break free from the night. When she finally spoke, her voice was a fragile whisper, yet rich with truth. “I love you too, Salvatore…”

First Bite

First Bite

The Veil didn’t shatter—it sloughed away, layer by layer, like peeling skin beneath a relentless sun. Autumn stepped through the fractured surface of the mirror, the violet flame still dancing fervently around her dagger. Instantly, the familiar room dissolved into nothingness, replaced by an atmosphere thick and brittle, reminiscent of glass poised on the brink of splintering.

Married in Her Name

Married in Her Name

Grateful for any small human sound that could exist beside the note. Elaine’s tablet chimed again. She looked down. “I have preliminary enhancement on the paper edge,” she said. “There are partially printed letters at the torn side.” Daniel turned. “From what kind of document?” “Inventory or storage list.” Elaine adjusted the image. “I can make out ‘bridal,’ possibly ‘veil,’ and a number.” Leah’s heart beat hard. The veil. Not only the dress. The veil had hidden her face at the altar. The veil had allowed a lie to walk down the aisle with everyone pretending not to see what was wrong.

Caged Pheonix

Caged Pheonix

Her throat burned as though choked by invisible threads, and before she realized it, tears welled and spilled down her cheeks. Overwhelmed, Violet acted without thinking. She reached for him, her arms circling his shoulders, pulling him close. She buried her face against him, hiding the truth that threatened to pour out with her tears. Her embrace was trembling, desperate, and yet it carried a tenderness she had never shown him before.

A Veil of Ash and Glass

A Veil of Ash and Glass

The room seemed to shrink. This wasn’t just about Noah. This wasn’t even about the kiss-that-almost-was. It was what she’d unleashed in the moment she snapped. Hiraya paced once, then turned back, eyes wide and shimmering with a clairvoyance she didn’t want. “They felt you,” she said. “All of them. Everything that waits on the other side of the veil for a Sombra to slip.” Her voice trembled. “You didn’t send a call. But you leaked it. And now the dark knows where you are.”

Blood of The Shattered Moon

Blood of The Shattered Moon

We endure it together, the pain washing over us in waves, until finally—finally—it begins to fade. We're left gasping on the floor, tears streaming down our faces, but alive. Whole. The vial shatters, and the altar dissolves. The Veil of Faces floats down from its pedestal and settles into my trembling hands. "You have passed all three trials," the priestess's voice says, now gentle. "You have seen truth, spoken truth, and endured truth. The Veil is yours. Use it wisely." Kael helps me to my feet, and we stand there holding the Veil, both of us shaking from the ordeal.

THE VEIL OF TWENTY MOON

THE VEIL OF TWENTY MOON

A symbol she had never seen. A symbol that had never been there before. As she watched, it flickered once and vanished, leaving only a faint warmth behind. The whisper returned. “…find the Veil…” Lyra stumbled backward, her breath trembling. The crack in the sky dimmed slowly, shrinking until it became a thin line once more. Then—with a sound like shattering glass—it sealed shut. The night returned. Crickets resumed their song. The wind stirred again, as if waking from sleep. Everything looked normal.

Alpha Of Aberdeen

Alpha Of Aberdeen

I can still see the outline of his toned body and my eyes light with electricity and fire forms in my stomach. I can see his eyes start to glisten as he covers his face with his hands to cover his crying. I try to hold back my tears, but it's becoming so hard. Thankfully, the veil is in my face so no one can see the tears escaping me, but by the encouraging squeeze against my arms, Cypress and Benjamin are the only ones that can tell.

I've no idea why my first review posted with only two stars - it won't let me change it. Four books in one. Book four - chapter updates currently ongoing to date. Good read and keeps you wanting more.
