I replied, rolling my eyes. "You're my baby" He teased causing my cheeks to burn with a blush We drove into an area that I recognized, and I noticed Jonah just brought me out of town. We passed a turn-off that led to Velma's house and I suddenly remembered something. "Luka?" I called. "Hhmm?" "Velma was the mate of a wolf."

How cliché. Calvin was on the phone. Seeing her come in, he gestured for her to wait a moment. She put the soup down, turned around, and went out to get a few slices of watermelon. By the time she came back, the call had ended. She casually closed the door to block out the noise from the TV outside and pointed to the soup on the table. "My mom made this tonic soup for you. Drink it while it's hot." She curiously leaned over. "What's inside?" Calvin stirred it but couldn't tell what kind of soup it was. Bella sniffed it; it smelled good. Seeing her like this, he smiled and said, "Why don't you try it?"

he said as Melissa nodded before writing down her number. “Thanks,” he said as he took the paper before his mother interrupted, “Mel, why don’t you go get our drinks first, two coke please,” she said as Melissa nodded before smiling at Jake as she left. 5 ~Velma’s POV When I opened my eyes again, I was lying in a hospital bed. A metal cuff circled my wrist, chaining me to the rail. Panic rushed through me. “Why… why am I handcuffed? What did I do?” I whispered. A doctor walked toward me with a clipboard. “Please calm down, ma’am. You were extremely exhausted and dehydrated. You collapsed.” He turned and spoke to someone behind him. And then I saw him.

What a good life she was living. Velma was so concentrated on picking out the perfect puzzle, and I looked at the cart to see if I'd forgotten something like I normally did. Viola, I did. There was no ketchup in the cart, and it was on the shelf just a few steps away from where Velma was.

Velma reserved the best private room for the party—it featured a whole wall of floor-to-ceiling windows that overlooked most of the city's glittering nightscape. It was freezing outside, but the private room was warm and toasty. A lamb feast had been laid out, and people dug in as they sat around several round tables. The air was filled with the aroma of food, and everyone happily dug in. The heat of the food soon had foreheads and noses glistening with sweat. Velma sat at Table 2, eating at her usual unhurried pace. She'd recently gained a bit of weight and wanted to lose the pounds. Just as everyone enjoyed themselves, Violet approached Velma while holding her wine glass. She smiled and sa

Velma only scoffed and rushed to her son. Albert went the bathroom and immediately turned on the cold shower. The heat in his body was too much, he could only cool it down with the ice cold water. But remembering the woman in the bedroom, even the cold water seemed ineffective. Albert stayed in the bathroom for a long time that Velma became suspicious that he might have fallen asleep, but hearing the running water, she was assured and went to another bedroom to wash her son and clean up too. *** After breakfast, someone came to the house.

After they reach downstairs Sa'eed sights his phone in Violetta's hands as she grins from ear to ear. The way she's grinning one would think she has been promised a life time supply of chocolate. On reaching there Halina ons the microphone and places it where the whole conversation will resonate. "Miss Violetta, why is my phone in your hands?" Sa'eed politely asks even though he's flaring like a red bull ready to charge.
