End of POV -**- As day by day passes, the day June gives a private lesson to Stacy arrives. With a pile of additional books, the beautiful woman with long, wavy hair sits next to Stacy. She begins to explain the points in each chapter by drawing a simple mind map on medium-size white carton paper. To make it more comprehensive, she adds different shapes for the flowcharts. While Stacy, herself, listens and nods at the explanation given. Along with that, she also chews a protein bar since she hasn’t had dinner yet.

Both women tried to crane their to hear what they were saying but their efforts were in vain. "Uncle Hen says flowers make girls happy," Zander said handing her the rose. Gwen took it feeling a sense of loss. Zander had found her crying and was trying to cheer her up. In the ten minutes he'd been out there with her, he'd made her cry harder than her best friend's betrayal. She finally understood what Max had been talking about.

She opened her mouth, then shut it again without a word. Margaret pulled a chair out and sat Vivian down in it anyway, whether she wanted to sit or not. "You're bleeding," she said, pointing at Vivian's knuckles. Vivian looked down at her own hand. She blinked twice. She hadn't clocked the blood until Margaret said something. Margaret went to get the first aid kit from behind the counter. Priya's phone buzzed. She pulled it out, read the screen, and her face lost color fast.

She turned toward him, her gaze sharp. “I don’t like owing favors,” she replied, crossing her arms. “Are you coming up or not?” They rode the elevator in silence. Inside the penthouse, Barbara tossed her purse onto the couch and walked toward the bar. “Want something to drink?” she asked over her shoulder, already reaching for a bottle. “No,” Victor replied, heading straight for the sofa. “I just need to book my flight. I don’t need any more trouble with my father.” “Make yourself at home,” she said in an oddly neutral tone.

Barbara said in a chilly tone as hatred flickered in her eyes, “I want to join forces with you and Mr. Maxwell.” “…” Fia stared at Barbara in surprise. Barbara gave her a bitter smirk and said, “I know I am a prideful woman. I’ve always thought I am strong and independent. That I don’t need help from anyone. Yet now, I’m at my wit’s end. I don’t know what I should do to defeat this cunning and shameless foe!” Hearing Barbara’s words, Fia finally understood why she was here to see her. If Barbara came here alone, Fia would probably not believe her. In fact, she would suspect her even more and think that she must have been tricked by Esme.

Barbara informed him “Leave? She said that?” Martin was surprised “Yes sir. Now, she went out to meet Mr Xander, I believe she planned all of it with him. I overheard when she was on the phone right before I left, talking about visa and immigration.” “Sir, I believe if you are a little kind to madam, she won’t go! She isn’t wrong, it was Ms Ross who…..” Barbara lowered her head, didn’t continue her words, afraid if Martin got angry

However, just half an hour later, the tranquility was shattered. "If you see Madam Martínez later, be sweeter with her. She has a lot of valuable things in her hands, don't let them all be snatched away by those two little brats from the DeRoss family." Barbara's voice came closer and closer, "If you cause trouble like last time, I'll slap you." She walked into the villa, and unexpectedly, a fierce gaze shot towards her. Barbara looked up and met Haley's cold eyes, her hairs stood on end.

Barbara followed beside Helios when they went around talking to the guests. When she turned her head around, her gaze met with Elaine’s. Elaine froze for a moment, but she still nodded at her out of courtesy. Barbara said something to Helios, and he nodded. After that, she put down her glass and walked toward Elaine. “Ms. Xavier.” Elaine was stunned. She looked at Barbara and asked, “Is there anything I can help you with, Mrs. Boucher?”

I was heading toward the spot next to Cale, but Barbara whizzed past me and claimed the seat before I could even blink. A hot spike of jealousy pierced my chest, making my breath hitch. I felt like a possessive animal watching another rival move in on my mate. Slade and Rachel exchanged a lingering look, their eyes shifting to me. I forced a tight smile and moved to the other sofa, tucking my legs under me. “Cale, do you love this type of movie?” Barbara asked. She placed her hand on his thigh, her fingers rubbing the denim in slow, smooth circles that were anything but innocent.

"Kara, do you know where Barbara’s going?" Kara blinked. "As far as I remember, she mentioned voting on her account. Try checking her social media. Maybe there are clues there," Kara explained before she continued talking to Vivian. Frank's fingers hit with the keyboard again. Just as Kara finished calling Vivian, the printer beeped. Frank immediately got up to take the results. "Kara, can you help me again? Please find out which venues Barbara has visited." He handed her the paper. Kara nodded. "I'll do it in my room." She also needed a computer.
