Renato's eyebrow lifted, then his face went still. He produced a cigar from his inside pocket, one of his slim Cohibas, lit it, and let out a thread of pale blue smoke. "Gianna." He tapped his foot once against the pavement, the red ember of the cigar pulsing like a warning light. "Drop it, okay? I don't find this funny." I held his gaze. "I'm not joking." He choked on the smoke, bent slightly as he coughed.

Smile tried to help him stand again. He bit his molar teeth and toned down his voice to show his sincerity even though it was full of hardship. “They are an evil schemer, but they are not a devil. They had their reasons. They should do a good thing with the power they had, instead, they killed my brothers and sisters.” “I know, I know.” Smile’s face was distorted, and wrinkles formed everywhere. Sleepy nodded a few times. “We will reform them. Please.” “No matter how much I hated them, I still love them. Even though this mouth denies them, this heart is against the idea.”

A burning cigarette settled between his fingers and he blew out the smoke from the cigarette, slowly and deliberately. His lips curled into a smile and his lips pressed into a thin smile. Evil. “I will be here, Sunshine…” Laughs in sarcasm. “When you Mr right become the only wrong that will ever exist.”

“Remember it’s only a game. Leave your deaths for after the game.” Lifting my gaze to meet hers, I put my dagger back. “You call me weak and yet, the truth triggers you, what a clown.” Ivella muttered something under her breath but I ignored her. I squatted to the bottle, spinning it as I watched it roll. Seconds later, its tip stopped in front of black boots with a scowl on his face. Kai Malek. Jackpot. “Truth or Dare.” My lips curved into a smirk. “Dare.” No reaction whatsoever. Not for long.

The saliva hit his cheek and dripped down toward his jaw. He stilled. Then slowly, in the most menacing way, he smiled. It wasn’t kind or gentle. It was full of possession, hunger and power. His eyes gleamed, golden and unrelenting, like a predator who enjoyed the hunt just as much as the kill. “I like the fire Velari,” he said, amused. “But it won’t save you.”

Victor smiled vaguely, standing up and leisurely scanning the boxed items all around them, then smirked openly before disappearing through the rows of stored items. Looking at the man’s receding figure, Marcel let out a breath of relief she didn’t even realize she was holding. No doubt his contrasting personality was enough to drive fear into her mind; there was just something dark and ominous about the way he smiled this time… no sign of warmth, understanding or compassion, nothing but pure evil.

He smiled like an harmless child who was talking about toys and balloons rather than spewing national secrets to outsiders. "... Your Majesty, I can't help but doubt your words about letting me go once all of this travesty is over." I muttered in hopeless despair when I saw his sugary smile deepening. "Oh no, Fake Lizzy. Do not worry please, I shall definitely keep my word. How could I not, I am many things, but a liar is not one of them." His sickening smile was still intact to his face like super glue.
