It’s a lady in her late forties.
She scans me up and down.
I'm wearing a white mini dress with spaghetti straps and a yellow shrug, so of course, she would be confused.
“Mrs Wilson, right?” I ask, even though I’m sure it’s her.
“Yes, and who are you?” she asks as she dries her hands with her apron.
“Your husband, Mr Wilson, ordered these flowers,” I inform her, handing her the box.
“Oh, thank you,” she smiles at me.
