Violet paused when she noticed the name of the book, a slow smirk tugging at her lips. "You’re reading it like you actually understand it," she remarked lightly, amusement dancing in her voice as she crossed the hall and settled onto the couch across from him. Chris raised his gaze from the book and met her eyes. Instead of replying, he simply smiled. "That one’s for beginners," Violet continued, nudging her chin toward the book. A flicker of nostalgia softened her expression as she leaned back on the couch. "It was my first book. Took me almost a year to master it." Her smile deepened as old memories surfaced. There was actually a garden in Eclipse pack, just not the regular one. I dropped the book and grabbed the box, observing the flowers. Their light red colored petals were absolutely beautiful. Little wonder they did beautiful things. There was no doubt that these were the Rain Flowers. I hoped they help bring back Miguel's memory. I took just one petal and hid it safely in my pocket.

8 Two days later, Violet was working in the garden. Her job for today was to pluck the weed and water the garden that was maintained well with blooming and bright flowers on Kiara's demand. They grew in the part of the garden that was visible from her window. Sighing weakly, Violet mopped the back of her wrist on her forehead. It was scorching hot today. Summers were starting to begin and the sun was showing its wrath already. Her throat was dry, her lips cracking from lack of water and her tongue felt like sandpaper in her mouth.
