Two figures stepped out from separate suites almost in sync. The first was tall, strikingly tall, even for her kind, with a stillness to her form that made everything around her seem more mortal by comparison. She wore a gown of lilac silk that shimmered like frost at dawn, the train of it trailing behind her like mist curling at the edge of a moonlit lake. Her skin was a pale, luminous silver, almost iridescent, and her hair, cool silver shot through with streaks of starlight, was swept into an elaborate knot adorned with frost-like crystals. She turned slightly as we neared, revealing eyes the color of violet ice.

Only vases that will be a liability while I am running. It is as if Ravet and his sorcerers were anticipating that something like this will happen. My hair is wild in all possible ways and I hate how it is falling in my face as I am shuffling around like a snake with no head. I grab the hem of my dress and rip it apart with all my strength. I use the piece I ripped off to tie my hair in a ponytail and I am impressed with myself. It only lasts a second before I go back to the task at hand.

Her long red hair was curled but was pinned to fall over her left shoulder. She had a smoking eye make up and a soft lip gloss.

Violet walks out of the bathroom looking sleepy, which, considering she had just fallen asleep in the bath, is understandable - but goddess is she beautiful! Her auburn hair is in wet ringlets down her back and over her shoulders. Her eyes look so sleepy, bless her… I think somebody may be ready for bed. I can't help but wonder how long she would have slept in the bath had I not woken her. She is wrapped up in a towel. It encases the curves of her body, driving me crazy! My heart raced at the thought of what little lays beneath that piece of fabric…

Blood. My stomach twisted as my eyes adjusted to the gloom, and then I saw her. Violet. She was bound and kneeling on the cold ground, her head slumped forward. Her once-perfect hair was a tangled mess, matted with sweat and traces of blood. Deep bruises marred her delicate features—her left eye was swollen shut, her lip split, and dried blood trailed from her temple to her chin. Her dress was torn in several places, exposing raw, scraped skin beneath.

The car flew and in just a couple of minutes, they arrived at the mansion of Fabious. "I have classes today. You two, don't you dare leave this house." Violet left them and went inside a trajectory room. "Your hair, it has red stripes. Is it natural?" Henri asked. "Yeah, I think it has something to do with that red pearl. Your hair also has red stripes," Ahri replied.

Ann Marie was never one for conflict either so she was happy to agree with these circumstances. After waiting for three hours my hair was finally done. Violet Kaelis stood on the small platform in the center of the room, nervously biting her nails as at least six hands worked around her. Her dress was even more breathtaking than the first time she had tried it on. The soft blush-pink skirt was puffy and spread out around her in layers, with sparkly details that flashed when she moved. The top fit her nicely, as did the lace over her shoulders and arms, and the tiny crystals that were sewn in completed it.

Then I saw her. Violet Flanagan stood by a large mahogany desk, the light from a stained-glass window casting azure and crimson hues upon her form. She was the embodiment of controlled chaos, her hair a spill of midnight silk, her posture that of a queen—or a dictator—one who knew the impact of her presence. "Roanne, this is Violet," Lizzie said, her words slicing through my trance. "Violet," I echoed, forcing my feet to move forward.
