“Your Highness, I am Twari, the right hand of your father, Supreme Atcandis,” Twari introduced himself, hoping the Prince had simply forgotten his face after centuries asleep.
Prince Zumir did not respond. He looked instead at the owl, Owwa. Slowly, he stood and stretched. The cracks in his bones were audible. He examined his hands and legs. Everything felt unfamiliar. He had no idea what he was seeing or experiencing.
“I don’t know anyone named Twari. I don’t know my name. Why are you calling me ‘Your Highness’?” he asked, looking at Twari.
