The journey to her cottage took them along winding roads flanked by towering trees, their branches reaching out like ancient sentinels guarding the secrets of the wilderness. From the confines of his car, Damon observed Aqua's quaint abode—a small cottage nestled at the edge of town. The cottage stood as a solitary figure amidst a lush landscape, surrounded by a canopy of ancient trees that seemed to whisper secrets in the wind. Its timeworn exterior, adorned with ivy and climbing roses, exuded a rustic charm that spoke of simpler times.

His breath stank of cigarettes. "Let me go!" I gagged, struggling hard. The next second, the guy flew two feet back, passing out with a grunt. A familiar, cool scent hit me as someone helped me up. I looked up to see a handsome face, and tears poured out. "You left the party early," he said, his voice deep and soothing. "I got worried and checked the surveillance. I'm sorry I'm late."

KAI’S POV The blade screamed before it struck. Not audibly, not to the room, but to something older inside me. The wards under my skin detonated into heat as the air split, and instinct tore control from thought. “Zara!” Too late. The blade wasn’t metal. It looked like obsidian glass, curved and narrow, veins of silver light pulsing through it like a heartbeat. It emerged from nowhere, no summoning circle, no warning glyph, just there, sliding out of empty space and into flesh.

she whispered, fear threading her voice. “You survived it,” I said, gripping the handle of my knife, feeling the familiar weight like an extension of my arm. “And then you make sure it never comes back.” Blade gave me a nod, a silent agreement. His gaze flicked to the shadows. “It’s not human. Not really. But it can bleed. And when it bleeds…” His eyes glinted. “…we make it count.” From the corner of my eye, I caught movement. A black blur, almost imperceptible, circling behind the trees. My heart hammered. The figure was patient, letting us think we had a moment’s reprieve. But that was all it was—an illusion.

The silver hair bloomed under the faint moonlight peeping through the leaves, reflecting pale light like threads of metal. I could not see his face clearly, but the sight of his broad back alone made my breathing hitch slightly. My heart started hammering inside my chest. "Don't fall in love," Moon warned. "I am not," I whispered quickly, though my pulse refused to calm down. My attention immediately shifted to his wound. A dagger had been driven deep into his back shoulder. The blade glinted faintly beneath the moonlight. Even from this distance, I could recognize the dull gray coating along the metal.

I forced myself to say. "It doesn't matter, Reis. As a matter of fact, she's on my side now, and she's going to help me execute my plan. And there's nothing you can do about it." He smirked and leaned back in his chair before snapping his fingers. Some men approached with a tray. Resting on it was a blade emitting a glowing green light. "Let me introduce you to the Blade of Poison," Cillian began. "I'm sure you can sense the lethal energy radiating from this blade. We've spent years designing it to kill usurpers like yourself."

Justice finishes talking, a gust of red wind appears and blows our hair all over. "Here," SpeedBlade screams, throwing everything in his arms right in front of Ms. Justice. The two of us, at first stun by his sudden appearance, barely have time to get out of the way as SpeedBlade throws everything down. A pile of machine parts; gears, pipes, some sheet metals, and other things, all collapse onto Ms. Justice's metal net.

Today is the day when Mia and Blaze are going on vacation to Italia, they've prepared their stuff and everything, Blaze just did the last check-up for his pack. "Yes Mrs Blakley, we will arrange your problem since I won't be here for two weeks, contact my beta who will help you." Blaze said through his phone as Klay and Zach are playing together at rock, paper and scissors. "Rock, paper, scissors!" They yelled together loudly and Blaze cringed. "Fuck..." I pulled out my custom-made blade gleamed with a savage hunger under the bright arena lights. The polished steel bore the name "Capone," etched into the metal like a proclamation of death. Its edge was as sharp as a serpent's fang. It looked eager to cut, having tasted the blood of many before. The handle, wrapped in black leather, felt like a coiled snake in my grip, ready to strike with deadly accuracy. This blade wasn't just a weapon; it was a merciless instrument of brutality, a symbol of my unrelenting power in this world.

"I won't let go." Rhydian smiled through the blood on his lips. "You never have to." The Twin Blades merged into one brilliant white sword. Its light pierced the heavens. The King of the Void looked at the weapon. For the first time... It took a single step backward. "You forged..." Its voice carried something unfamiliar. "...the Blade of Beginning." The Creator smiled. "No. They did." The white blade released a pulse of light that spread across the collapsing world. Dead trees bloomed. Broken stone became green with life. The frightened Gatekeepers felt hope returning to their hearts. Even the widening crack in the sky stopped growing.
