Her Deceiver

Her Deceiver

She looked up at him fiercely, glaring at him while a tear passed down from the corner of her eye. "You ask me why? Isn't it the dumbest question you ask me? You deceived me. You betrayed me. You made me believe in a false you, you made me believe in a fake identity. And out of nowhere you are a mafia and kidnapped me, caged me here and you still ask me why I betrayed you? Aren't these reasons enough for me to betray you". "I don't want to live here. Not with you. Not with someone who deceived me, who betrayed me. Not with a mafia". "In exchange for my freedom and normal life I exchanged the information with them. You see, it's simple. I betrayed you for my life. Do you understand, Ii betray----". Before she completed her sentence her face turned to the right with a hand on her cheek. She didn't feel anything, but slowly that stinging pain crawled on her cheek. It hurt like hell. Yes, he slapped her. He slapped her hard. "You wanted to be free that badly". "From me"? "To this extent". "Fine then. I'm leaving you" Her heart crushed at his approval as she looked at him in disbelief. But he just walked away not before leaving the keys of his heart with her. ****** She was a normal girl living in India. And he belonged to mafia. A well known terrifying mafia king of Russia. FOUR SHADES OF DREY

FOUR SHADES OF DREY

I spent my whole life trying to be invisible. I was the girl who was too broken to survive high school, the one who tried to end it all after they had filmed themselves cutting off her hair. The girl who had to be homeschooled for eight years. So when my parents forced me into one final year of university, I made a deal with them. I'll give it a try, if I hated it, I'd disappear forever. I walked those halls with my head down, drowning in oversized clothes, praying no one would notice me. But then I met him. Dreyven. The one person who pushed me so far that I lost control and slapped him. But what I didn't know was that he had three identical brothers, and I had just started a war. They planned their revenge together: make me fall in love with them, one by one, thinking they were the same person, then break my heart and leave me destroyed. I gave him everything: my trust, my body, my heart. I thought I was falling in love with one perfect man who kept surprising me with new facets of his personality. When I discovered the truth, it shattered me. They were four brothers who had used me for revenge, four men who had passed me between them like a toy, four liars who had laughed while I fell apart. So disappeared. Five years later, I wasn't that broken girl anymore. I had built an empire. I knew their secrets. I knew their weaknesses. And I was going to destroy them the way they destroyed me. But revenge had a price and I had to learn that, some love stories are simple. But ours was written in scars, secrets, and second chances.

Katherine
I think the ML is quite misunderstood here! He divorced her when he cheated, which was not intentional. He was drunk. Selene took advantage of him. He had no feelings for the other woman. His guilt was eating him up. Even after the divorce, he didn’t quite let go the FL.
Lorelai Evans
If I had known ML cheated on FL during their marriage(drunken mistake or not), I would’ve never read this. And, he continued to sleep with the other woman after the divorce. It’s like he had no remorse. This type of men are disgraceful. I hope FL never gets back together with him.

From Heartbroken to Untouchable

From Heartbroken to Untouchable

I've been married to Elliot Graves, the mafia drug lord in NYC, for the past eight years. But today—on our wedding anniversary—I received a photo of him with my best friend, Lila, celebrating as if they were the ones married. And in her arms was my son, Owen. I stared at the image, then typed out two words in reply. “How perfect.” Half a hour later, Elliot stormed through the front door. His voice thundered through the hallway. “Why do you always have to be so bitchy to Lila?” Owen, my own little boy, shoved at my leg and glared. “Bad Momma,” he said. “I wish Miss Lila was my real mommy.” I didn’t flinch. I simply walked over to the drawer, pulled out the crisp stack of papers I’d long prepared, and dropped them on the table with a quiet finality. “Alright,” I said, my voice calm. “It’s all my fault. Now, can I go?”

She Takes My Luck, but I Still Win

She Takes My Luck, but I Still Win

On the night of Halloween, my best friend, Mina Corvelle, rushes to save the black cat before me, triumph dancing in her eyes. That is when I, Elora Aldridge, realize that she has been reincarnated, too. In my past life, she scorned the stray for being filthy, so she kept her distance. So, it was I who took pity on the cat and rescued it. When I walked past an old blind woman manning a roadside stall, she told me that the cat was a rare dark fortune cat. Once it recognized a master, it would draw dark riches from all directions and bring unimaginable wealth. I dismissed it as superstition. Yet, the very next day, I was inexplicably promoted to director of the department. Soon after, my family's dilapidated old house found itself part of a redevelopment scheme, and we were given compensation of eight apartments and 30 million dollars in cash. Even the enigmatic golden boy of Lakeshire, Cassian Mercer, started to pursue me relentlessly, declaring that he would only marry me and no one else. But not long after I married Cassian, Mina trapped me—and the black cat—inside the apartment. She then set it on fire, burning us alive. Outside the inferno, she screamed, "Why should you get everything without even lifting a finger? All those riches should've been mine!" When I open my eyes again, I find myself back at the very intersection.
