Walking Dead Fort Benning Novels & Stories

Hawthorn shouted, pointing toward the open tailgate. Atlas vaulted up first, leaning down with his broad arms to pull Kenny, Lena, Vanessa, Susan, Jill, Vanya, and the rest of them up into the truck. Denzel hauled Captain Julian up, while Alexander lifted me by my waist, tossing me safely into the back before climbing up behind us. Vanya scrambled up last just as the iron back door of the estate burst open in the distance, and thousands of shrieking infected poured out into the loading bay. "They're coming!" Kenny screamed, pointing at the wave of black bodies sprinting across the ice toward the truck.

Carrying the body through the cemetery at night was easy with the dead gravedigger there was no one, the hard part was getting rid of our soldiers and putting the body in the car. Approaching the entrance to Fort George, we stopped at the back of the building, climbing the rusty fire escapes, at the apartment window we passed each of the three. Bianca should have been closer to waking up, but we couldn't run the risk of someone seeing it, I put the suitcase in the corner of the bed and left the same way I entered, the chance of being seen by someone is too high to risk it.

"Then you better keep lying forever. And keep it down—don't wake her up." "She drank the milk. She's out." "Still, watch it. Too much sleeping medication builds tolerance. Enough talk—go draw the blood." Their words cut through me like a blade. My legs nearly gave out. As their footsteps neared, I forced myself to stumble back to the bedroom. So that milk Vincent gave me? Laced with sleeping pills. But tonight, my stomach had been off—I'd thrown it up not long after drinking it. And those mornings I woke up groggy, my arm covered in tiny puncture marks? Vincent always blamed mosquitoes. He was so convincing—I actually believed him.

That debt had to be settled properly. Three days later, on a stormy night with pouring rain, a battered armored vehicle—barely holding together—smashed through the gates of the villa complex. Callie and Dan crawled out of the car, covered in mud and looking utterly miserable. Behind them, more than a dozen mutated zombies were chasing them. “Help! Is anyone there? Help!” Callie screamed, her voice hoarse. Dan gripped a machete in his hand, but it was useless against mutated zombies.

It was then he knew this was his last day on earth. Outside Maddy, Kate, Mike, Porella, Andre and several bodyguards waited for one sound. Just then a loud gunshot whizzed through the air, it entered the window and hit its target right in the temple. Within minutes a crew came in and stripped the façade and revealed several containers that were retrofitted just for the purpose of this meeting. When they were done the only thing left was a dead man, sprawled across a table with a hole in his head. The next morning as the sun came up, the news hit the headlines – Defense Force DIRECTOR BEN JOHNSON FOUND DEAD on an empty lot in St. Greg.

If he lived at all, that is. The sound of more movement in the darkness caught both of their attention. Thinking that it was Felix and Ari finally returning, her hopes soared and her efforts to be free renewed. He quickly tied her feet together and then secured them to her wrists. Her heart literally skipped a beat when half a dozen walking dead slowly descended upon the camp. Helpless to protect herself or her son, she looked to see if he’d awaken. He hadn’t. Saying a quick prayer for his safety, she worriedly watched to see how cyborg Rex was going to handle the zombies. Being a cyborg, she was fairly certain that he was immune to their bite. She knew that she was since she’d been ino

“Cameron!” “F-k,” Rhett scrambled on all fours to where Cameron had collapsed on the footpath. There was a roar from the direction of the hospital, and suddenly one of the Van Helsing 4WD’s was flipped onto its side. Heath jerked as a bullet grazed along his cheek bone and blurred out of sight again. A thunder of footprints tore Rhett’s eyes from where his blonde mate had been to where the soldiers who had been in the houses ran towards the shelter offered by the upturned 4WD and Unimogs and began to lay down covering fire for those who had been caught exposed by the tents.

My mate is the only living member of the Adler line and for that, I’ll let his mishandling of the prick go. With a tilt of my head, Dawson catches on, clamping his good hand on my shoulder as he hobbles along with me as we head toward the hospital. Once we round the packhouse and spot the front gate, we make our way onto the street. The growls and clashing of bodies begins to grow calmer with each step we take. As we approach the barracks, I can see piles of bodies lining the road. I’m quick to scan through the faces of those on the ground and those stacking the bodies. Thankfully, all of Bria’s warriors seem to be in one piece. Spotting Carter, I holler at him to give me a hand with Dawson.

After Wendy noticed that no one was chasing after her, she found a place to unlock her handcuffs. When Benjamin and his men arrived at the Southwest exit, Jackalyn and Sienna had just left. Blood and corpses littered the ground. It was evident that a battle had occurred here. The smell of blood filled the air. Ethan looked at the corpses and saw Sharon, who was littered with bullets. "Mom!" he shouted as he ran toward Sharon. He wanted to reach out and hug her, but he didn't know how. He panicked, not knowing what to do.
