Machen Sie sich keine Sorgen – niemand wird an der Echtheit dieser Leiche zweifeln.“ Nach dieser Garantie seufzte Mia erleichtert. Noch einmal ging sie mit dem Mitarbeiter die Details für den Liefertag der Leiche durch. Nachdem sie die Leitung gelegt hatte, öffnete sie die Tür zum Privatzimmer. Bisher war das Zimmer voller Lärm, doch im Moment, in dem sie eintrat, erstarrte die Stimmung. Alle schauten sie an – kein Laut war mehr zu hören.
