I didn’t want to run into the middle of the fight because I didn’t want to distract my mate so I made my way around the edge of the fight picking off cats as I went and making sure not to hurt any of the warriors in the process. I grunt as I clock a warrior in his throat. “He threatened them with killing their families. We have to save as many as we can,” I yell out as I am wrestled to the ground by two warriors. These fuckers just keep coming. Suddenly, one of the idiots bites into my thigh and I look down to see he has shifted. They always underestimate my strength at first and are having to shift to take me on. Dumbasses. Kat pushes forward and pins him down in a second, snarling as she clamps down on his neck. It’s not fatal, but he will have to stop in order to focus healing or he will bleed out.

He lifted his hand in signal, and the other warriors closed in. Snarling, Kat unsheathed her claws and launched herself at the nearest one, lashing out in a blur of fury. She felt her claws connect, ripping through flesh, and the cry of pain from her opponent was satisfying. Whirling, she struck again, then gasped as she was caught from behind, powerful arms wrapping around her to yank her away. She thrashed wildly, but she was outnumbered, and within moments she found herself forced down, her arms wrenched behind her back.
