Jerome said tapping my back in a soothing manner before heading out leaving me all alone . Nothing made sense to me at this moment , yes I was prepared to come take my betrothed as my wife not in my wildest dreams did I think I would find my mate at a restaurant two days before going to see a betrothed I have never set my eyes on. “ .... You should have atleast spoken to our mate ” Nate my inner wolf growled lowly and angrily at me “ just shut up “ I growled back at him “ what does a wolf like you know about just mate ” I sneered grudgingly at him aggravating his anger

Dark hair fell across his forehead, and his steel-gray eyes surveyed the pack with the calculating gaze of a born leader. Our eyes met across the clearing, and I watched his nostrils flare as my scent reached him. For one heart-stopping moment, recognition flashed in his gaze—primal, intense, undeniable. The mate bond snapped into place between them like a golden thread, binding our souls together in the way of our kind. But instead of the joy I had dreamed of, instead of the rush toward each other that every mated pair experienced, Hunter's expression hardened into something cold and distant. His jaw clenched, and he deliberately turned away from me.

Nathan instructed me to run a few rounds on the track, and then we would practice together. I still had some rounds to finish when I heard a growl and stopped. What now? I wondered. I was close to Richard and Nathan, so I went to them, slowing down and stopping in front of them. “What happened?” I asked and turned my head, only to see a young she-wolf running towards one of the warriors. I heard the word ‘mate’ coming out from both, and they started making out in the middle of the field. “We have a new pair of mates in the pack, Luna.” Richard chimed in.

Although, I knew I was never letting go of a delicate prey that'd quench my urge… whatever her excuse might be. “I have a mate” she mumbled, her voice low and cautious. “You know very well that no other man is allowed to touch a she-wolf after she has found her mate” “I dare not defy the mating rule” she added, her eyes flickering away from looking into mine. “Not with an Alpha heir” I rolled my eyes internally at her utterance that seemed to be lecturing me on what I clearly knew about. “So?” I smiled and drew her tighter to my chest.

' He grinned at her, he truly was loving the Warrior life, living outdoors, training every day, and building up a camaraderie with his men and women which brought him to what he wanted to talk to her about, 'Come, we need some privacy’ He nodded at Carrick who took the younger children to see their father and led her back into his quarters, 'There is someone I would like you to meet Mama.' He opened the flap of his tent and inside was a stunningly beautiful young woman, her hair was the c

Selene’s expression shifted instantly. Guarded. “You heard that?” “He wasn’t exactly whispering.” She looked away for a moment. And that alone told me enough. She knew something. “What’s different about me?” I pressed. Selene hesitated again. Clearly debating how much she should say. Finally “There are stories,” she said carefully. I frowned slightly. “What kind of stories?” “The old bloodlines.” A cold feeling crept down my spine. “In the past,” Selene continued quietly, “there were wolves born with stronger bonds than ordinary mates. Rare bonds. Dangerous ones.”

Aura struggles against his grip, her gaze pleading with me. I'm almost there. With one final burst of speed, I leap onto the stage. My paws thunder on the wooden planks. Their Alpha stumbles back, releasing Aura. She rushes to my side, and I swiftly position myself between her and the rival alpha. The guards, realizing their leader's vulnerability, retreat. My warriors press their advantage, pinning them down. It's a surprising sight. How twenty of my warriors can defeat triple their number. For a moment, the square falls silent, except for heavy breathing and growls. The Alpha's growl echoes through the square, his eyes blazing with possessiveness. "She's mine! My mate!"

“Awesome. Now let’s talk logistics. Since you’re a mate-reject and you live with your parents, it makes the most sense that we move in together.” I snatched my hand back. “Wait, what?” “Warriors date to claim. We don’t date for fun, Vivid. Everyone has to think we’re serious. We’ve known each other a long time. They wouldn’t be surprised and would actually expect this of us and be more surprised if we didn’t.” “It’s a tradition since when there were wars all the time and warriors had to settle down and claim and breed quickly. Now warriors are taught to be serious and never fraternize.”

“When time shall come , you will know who you are and what you stand for, then you should have the right to choose between whats good and what is evil, to save the curse of the mated vs unmated.” “Mated vs unmated ? I haven’t heard of that before.” “My prince if you permit me I should tell you a story about how it all began. “The mated...?” “Yes the mated vs the unmated of course. What the hell are you thinking? Come here, stay with me.” He snapped at the prince. Warrd drew closer to him they sat close by and the guards in watch for external aggressions. Then Billy began the narration...

I could feel the frustration building as I let it all out. My father listened, a calm smile on his face, waiting until I was finished before he spoke. “Princess, you haven’t found your mate yet, and it’s normal to feel a pull toward other male wolves at this stage of your life. Sometimes that pull might lead you to your true mate—or it might not. So, just be careful, my dear,” he said gently.
