"I’ve traveled the world. Been to weird, creepy places, but I always felt safe… And now you’re telling me there are werewolves all over the place?" She turned to face me again. "This is too much." Her voice cracked. "No, no, no…" She groaned and covered her face. "Now I don’t even wanna step outside my apartment!" Despite the chaos in my chest, I almost laughed. She was all over the place emotionally. Then she suddenly snapped back. "Wait! You said you're a soldier. Was that even true?" Here we go. "Kinda. I’m a warrior in my pack." "What does that mean?"

Followed by a Gamma, whose main function is to protect her. Then follows Mathew, yeah, the name appears in her mind because he is currently holding that title (the head of the warriors) and because she is so proud of him. Next follows the warriors and then the Elders, then the Omegas and, finally, at the bottom of the ranks in the werewolf world, are the Rogues.

I swear by my goddess Hel's name; I'd rather confront any monsters out there than be trapped here looking after these wimps. I was just about to say no when Carlo ordered me to join the doctors. Our job was to take care of the pups whose parents had died or were injured in battle. However, what I want is to join the Warriors line. witnessing his battles and standing by his side in the fight. But if I refuse his orders, it will only create a negative impression of me, and I have to keep his fondness for me. "I'll leave." Catrina's voice made me turn in her direction.

The Reptiles are great with sentry duty along the perimeter as they signal to the rest of the coming attack. We only had about a hundred fliers in the clan, even fewer wolves and reptiles. Twenty fliers are trackers and have already been inducted into the Warriors. They also fly messages back between the clans to coordinate attacks, and there are flier outposts for them if necessary. Of the Wolves, our smallest population. Most everyone serves as warriors at some point in their lives, like the Lions. Men or women, old and young, serve as warriors. Even retired wolves will ask for occasional patrol or sentry duty and scout missions. They are incredibly noble and loyal to the realm.

My Dad might fancy such but I’m not my Dad. I noticed most of the Warriors were middle-aged he-wolves and she-wolves, but I also noticed some young adults, like me too. I could imagine they had started Combat classes at an early age and had done remarkably well in training for them to have been able to be Reignile Warriors at such a young age. So that basically meant every Warrior here was older than me by Combat rank. I hadn’t finished my combat classes, remember? It had been interrupted twice. Both times by the one and only Cayden.

With both men now so severely weakened, even a Great Martial Mentor Realm warrior could easily make short work of them. “Meow… Looks like they can’t move anymore… Meow…” Evil Moon sniggered wickedly, circling around both men as it surveyed them both. Then it stood upright like a human would and rubbed its paws together. With a peal of laughter, it squealed, “Beg for mercy, you humans! Or I’ll eat you both for dinner!” Ding Hao stared darkly at it. "Of all times, this lousy cat has to choose now to misbehave! Is this what it had learned during its time with Tianshu?!"

My heart locked up. “Go!” I roared to the warriors at my side. They fanned out instantly, joining the fight. I leapt the last few steps, landing between Kate and the wolf lunging for her. My claws ripped across its throat before it even realized I was there. It crumpled at my feet. “Inside! Secure the Luna!” I barked at Celia, who was already pulling Kate behind the line of warriors forming a wall. But Kate’s eyes burned at me, furious. “I’m not running!”

Suddenly, the Elders burst out into laughter, the sound cruel and mocking. Elder Lyra, unable to hold back her amusement, sneers, “Don’t be daft, girl. Just because you managed to order those Zervos wolves doesn’t mean you can control the Council warriors. Don’t you know? Council warriors are special wolves. They don’t belong to any packs, and no pack Alpha can control them either. They only obey the Council Elders.” I feel their eyes on me, waiting for me to crumble, anticipating the despair they expect to see.

He'd reached Catherine. I arrived to find them locked in combat—Dante's obsidian wolf against Catherine's brown wolf, both evenly matched. Our warriors had engaged Catherine's personal guard, keeping them from interfering. "Catherine!" I called out. "This doesn't have to end in death!" She broke off from Dante, shifting to human form. "You're right. It ends with your surrender." "Never." "Then we fight until one of us can't fight anymore." She shifted back to wolf form and charged.
