I can feel my tears forming and dropping. Please, don't take him away from me! Please! And I finally drift into painful unconsciousness! ****** *WILLIAM* “From my observation, it seems that the warriors will all be coming from the strongest Packs of different cardinal territories. Hera came from Aquatic of the South,Aurora from Greenspan of the west and Zoe from Mystic of the East. Now, the fourth warrior Iris will for sure come from the strongest Pack of the South, Bronchus.” Zack states in length.

The Reptiles are great with sentry duty along the perimeter as they signal to the rest of the coming attack. We only had about a hundred fliers in the clan, even fewer wolves and reptiles. Twenty fliers are trackers and have already been inducted into the Warriors. They also fly messages back between the clans to coordinate attacks, and there are flier outposts for them if necessary. Of the Wolves, our smallest population. Most everyone serves as warriors at some point in their lives, like the Lions. Men or women, old and young, serve as warriors. Even retired wolves will ask for occasional patrol or sentry duty and scout missions. They are incredibly noble and loyal to the realm.

Venn immediately replied: "It is a wolf that can control and absorb all things. In particular, only this wolf can control the air." As soon as Venn finished speaking, Amity also regained her strength, gently flying from the air to the ground. Amity looked at Lily again and said, “Try it!”

The Vapour trench ran all the way around that mountain. Orbin leapt clear over the 30m wide trench; it was deep. Orbin landed safely on to the other side, it was effortless to him. The unicorns carrying the girls flew over the trench gracefully. On that other side of that trench was the sanctuary for lesser animals: The herbivores. The Hobitoes looked like squirrels that hopped like mini kangaroos; a group of Hobitoes hopped in a throng over to Orbin, they were about 7 of them. They were his pets, they seemed pleased to see him. They made pleased purring sounds like cats. Unfortunately, he had no treats for them but that did not stop them from rubbing themselves against his massive legs.

Again. Time crawled by. Birds chattered overhead. A breeze stirred the leaves. Somewhere deeper in the woods a squirrel darted across a fallen log before disappearing again. Everything looked peaceful. But It wouldn’t stay that way. After what felt like forever but it actually wasn’t to long at all I noticed movement. I caught it before anyone said a word. A figure stepped onto the trail. Another followed. Then another. Around ten warriors that I noticed. Among them were two young men that walked near the center of the formation. The triplets. I knew it was them. I could pick them out of a line up. They looked exhausted. One kept glancing over his shoulder while the other stayed so close to

I shrieked and stumbled backward— And a squirrel jumped out. A small, brown, fluffy squirrel. It twitched its nose at me. I screamed like it was a demon crawling out of hell. “Are you possessed?!” I shouted at the creature as if it understood English. “Why would you jump at me like that?!” It chattered. Or maybe it cursed me back. I didn’t wait to find out. I turned around and ran. Not jogged. Not walked fast. Ran like something from the underworld was behind me.

“West Fang and Starfire packs.” I smiled at that. “Seems you see some reasoning?” he asked. The audacity of this man! West Fang was a pack that were filled with warriors, and they made the best weapons. Starfire, on the other hand, is a mine pack. The resources gotten from there are used to boost our wealth. “Isn’t that exploitation, Hansel?” I asked. “Add some respect to my name,” he said with gritted teeth. “It isn’t. This is a fair trade.”

As I slowly washed her hair, she leaned her head back and sighed in pleasure. “I think we left the champagne glasses outside,” she sleepily said. I worked some conditioner into her hair. “If we did, the squirrels have probably taken them by now.” Lanie scoffed. “Okay.” “There’s a new breed out here. It’s smarter and stronger than the brown, gray, and red squirrels combined.” “And what’s this new breed called?” she demanded. Done with rinsing her hair, I got to work soaping up her shoulders and back. “Uh, I think they’re calling it the hustler squirrel. They’re good at snatching and then reselling things for extra cash on Craigslist.”

Cassandra Miles moved closer to them. The squirrels reacted as if they knew who had been taking care of them all this time. They acted friendly toward Miles, making him chuckle softly in response. I believed, at that moment, that they were truly connected. “Zin, Zen, Ai, and Ri.” He pointed at each squirrel one by one as he named them. I looked at Miles in amazement—he could really come up with names that quickly. As I glanced at Sebastian, he was smiling too.
