Queen said, "Okay, I will tell you what you want to know." She spent the next twenty minutes explaining every single detail concerning the flash drive to Shawn while he listened quietly. After hearing everything, he sighed, "I guess I understand you much better than you think." He got up and turned his back on her as he said, "Do you know why I am fighting this battle against the Wild Stallions?" "I was wondering about it," Queen replied.

Theo, his heart pounding with anticipation, held his hand steady, his eyes fixed on the squirrel. Slowly, the squirrel reached out, its delicate paws accepting the crackers. Theo, his face alight with joy, watched as the squirrel scurried back to its branch, its cheeks bulging with the tasty morsels. "Mama Hazel, I helped the squirrel!" he exclaimed, his voice bursting with pride. Mama Hazel, her heart brimming with warmth, knelt down and hugged him tightly. "You did, Theo," she said, her voice filled with admiration. "You were so kind to share your crackers with the squirrel."

As we start looking around to see where she went I hear her yell from above us “ y’all have fun down there. I’ll be up here when you’re ready to talk.” She’s says before letting out a light whistle “I’m shifting, she wants to talk then I’ll do it” Zion says before immediately shifting. By the time he finishes shifting we hear whispers coming from the tree and that’s when I realize my mate is talking to a squirrel and has managed to get a pillow and blanket. I’m honestly impressed you’d never know she’s being chased down by a pack of wolves. I see a light shimmer in front of her and I see the squirrel jump and disappear into the shimmer. He was about speaking when we heard a loud voice boom through the tunnels, not from a person but from a speaker mounted in a drone. “Subject 0-9. Roxy of the Silver Willow.Your sanctuary is revoked. The Council has authorized your termination. Surrender now, and your companion will be spared.” I looked at Jax. He looked at me, his amber eyes wide with terrifying realization. “Roxy, who the hell are you?” jax whispered. Before I could answer the tunnel behind us exploded in a flash of white light and a voice filled with sickeningly familiar cruelty called from the shadows.

Valeria’s POV Everything came back to me in a roar—the smell of sweat and blood, the howls of injured Shifters, the screech of metal against itself, or metal against stone. I looked around me frantically. The majority of our warriors were on the ground, clutching their heads, suffering under the werecat’s vision spell. They were nearly helpless. Screams and groans filled the air. An unfamiliar cry came from the woods across from us, and I spun around to see dozens of werecats running towards me at top speed, clearly coming to attack.

Ditto buddy! “What? You can fly over the river as a wolf?” I shot. “Almost, I am one of the fastest wolves in Astoria,” Kent said. Not bragging but just like it was a fact. “Why don’t you transform and I hop on your back? I can hold on pretty tight.” I suggested. Kent turned to me slowly. He looked beyond angry. “How dare you!” “What?” I asked, confused. “How dare you ask an Alpha to be your mule? I have never, will never, let anyone ride my back.” He explained further.

Max had just accepted the strange fact that he was not an ordinary human but a member of the wolf race. And Ivory ... did that girl have a power like Mirielle that could instantly shift places? Mirielle shook her head. She also did not understand if there was a mistake in her vision over the past few days. Not only her, even Amethyst, the goddess who ruled the lives of the wolves, felt played by the fate she made herself.

We even saw people flying at rocket speed, which was truly mind-boggling. That person came and went like Whooosh. And today, we entered the region where Thunder-Fire Valley was situated. *Skreeee....* Hearing the sound, both Sheeran and Rylee looked at the sky from the Carriage and got a shock. A big, giant bird covered in flames was rapidly flying towards the Thunder-Fire Valley. I was gobsmacked by the sight that I let out a" HOLY CRAP. " Rylee's eyes had that longing emotion as he spoke, " That's famous Flaming Eagle of the Thunder-Fire valley. Every elder of the Valley has one such Beast as their personal mount. " " I also want one, and It looks so freaking cool. " Sheeran could

SOPHIA POV The air was stiff while taking a walk with Xylah, this was because none of us wanted to be in the same company as each other.. As we walked, I heard noises and cheers going on in the distance. "What's that noise?" I asked. "They are recruiting new wolves to join the army," she replied. "You do not want to go there, the men there will be covered in their own sweat and blood," she complains. "Yuck right?" She asked but stopped talking when she noticed my interest. "Oh I forgot, you used to be a beta, those are your thing," she mumbles.
