“Do you know who this belongs to?” Her eyes widened. She turned to someone behind me. I met her gaze and it was her lead Warrior, Dara, who stood outside. “Warriors have it here.” She replied. “Why?” Why did she look at Dara? That was heavily suspicious. “This horse tail is expensive and few. Can only be found at Black Hills.” She scoffed. “Oh please. Boots and Rivers market sell anything. And the ones in Black Hills’ could be a cheap copy.”

I assured him. “Again, can’t wait.” He sarcastically said, but I could’ve sworn there was a glint of relief in his eyes. “Enough of this gushy talk, tell me, how do you feel?” “Normal.” “Ok, good start. Come smell me.” Max asked, sticking his neck up for me. I took a whiff, sandalwood, but this time I sneezed at the smell. “Perfect. You're cured for the time being. Now let me go find a way to get rid of these urges for the beast, but not the beast’s sister.” Max began walking out mumbling something along the lines of, “can’t live with um, especially when they don’t let you kill the one thing that could ruin our clan.”

When it redirected and started flying toward me, I stopped screaming and simply stared at the magnificent beast. As it drew near, I noticed a stream of purple aura flowing off its long tail. For a split second, I thought it smiled in satisfaction before it swooped under me, causing me to land on its back. Jarred slightly, I rolled over and grabbed onto one of its scales, and held on tightly. “If you fall again, I don’t know if I will catch you.
