Charlotte’s POV It's a new Monday. New and beautiful day. Enough of this whole sadness. I am putting all the guilt and weakness I feel behind me. Back to the plan. I have to beat Watson Holdings by a large Margin. He lost a child, sad but he never acted like he would be a good father. If he had he wouldn't have acted like he did when I told him I was carrying his child, even though he never loved me, he still was supposed to show remorse when he heard I lost the baby. Anyway that aside, I am not going to feel any more bad for him, not my fault, he probably is getting his payback and my mission is to bring more of that payback to him.

Watson who is watching everything from a distance is fuming with anger. Everyone's attention is on the couple who are hugging each other with love. No one paid much attention towards Watson, who is fuming with barely contained rage. After doing everything he can to destroy Damien and make him feel helpless, all his plans proved to be a waste of time and energy. Moreover, he hates Eva. The fact that she is stealing his elder daughter's happiness is a bitter pill for him to swallow.

I shouted. He paused. “Yes, I was stupid. Blind. But I loved him. And when you love someone, you can’t help it. You see the signs. You feel something’s wrong. You have that instinct—but you ignore it because you don’t want anything to ruin that love.” My voice cracked. “But why am I even explaining this to you? What do you know about what I’m feeling? You’ve probably never even loved anyone in your life—” “Don’t speak as if you know everything about me, Miss Watson.”

Like something she had done for years rather than months. General Watson watched them from beside the railing. And suddenly a memory surfaced. A much younger version of himself standing in a hospital room decades earlier. His wife sleeping beside him. Tiny newborn Tricia resting safely in her mother's arms. Hope. Fear. Love. The memory arrived so suddenly it almost stole his breath. His wife would have loved this. The thought carried sadness. But not the sharp kind anymore. The sadness felt softer now. Warmed by gratitude. He could almost imagine her standing beside him watching the family she helped create. Watching the future continue. Watching life move forward.

"Sister, our community used to be a family building assigned by the bank. Although it is an old house, it is still very safe." Sister Wang, the fat landlord, was panting while climbing the building, but Amway didn't bring any trouble to her house. Sister Wang really likes this beautiful, cute girl. Just came back from abroad, and no boyfriend, live alone, worry free.

Jackson started at the sudden attention, then smiled and gave a short wave. Wren and his mom separated, then she pulled him back down and hugged him again. Jackson laughed to himself at the sight. Wren pulled back again and whipped around to Jackson. His cheeks were wet from the free falling tears but a big smile deepened his dimples. He strode back to Jackson, cupped Jackson’s cheeks then bent down and pressed a long, warm kiss to his lips. Jackson laughed as Wren pulled back. “What was that for?” Wren stared at him with that warm light in his eyes and a soft smile curling his lips. “I love you.”

Or else why would she share something that she has not shared with anyone else? I wish I could see her tomorrow 13 November 2010 ‘What do you do when the person you love the most loves someone else? Guys, I cannot wait anymore.” ‘Neither can I wait, Ethan!’ I screamed inside me. “Today, I am going propose my love, for binding herself in marriage with me.” I stood up from my seat out of disbelief. Love was more than fine, but marriage? What else could I wish for? From the corner of my eye, I saw Gordon looking just as shocked as I was. However, not happy the way I was. “So, here I propose you. Will you marry me, Delisha Evans?”

It was slipping through her fingers. "No..." The whisper was barely audible. "No..." She backed away from the console. Shaking her head. "This can't be happening." Damon watched her quietly. There was no triumph in his expression. No satisfaction. Only sadness. Because standing before him wasn't a genius. Or a monster. It was a woman who had spent so long chasing perfection that she had forgotten how to love. Vale looked up at him. Her eyes were wild now. Desperate. "You don't understand!"
