The Space Between Pines

The Space Between Pines

He was still telling himself that when the GPS lost signal twelve miles outside of town. He wasn't surprised. The town had always existed in its own universe — slightly out of reach, slightly out of time, the kind of place that didn't care whether the rest of the world could find it. He remembered that about it. He remembered more than he wanted to. The way the pines pressed close on both sides of Route 9 like they were leaning in to get a better look at who was coming. The way the sky above the treeline was always a different color here than it was anywhere else — deeper, somehow, more deliberate, like the light had made a decision about what it wanted to be before it arrived.

In the Wake of Fate

In the Wake of Fate

"Carlee Hood, who do you think Dominic would save if we both crashed? My bet's on me!" The moment five steel bars speared through my body, Paige Ryan, sitting in the passenger seat, calmly pulled her hands back from the steering wheel she had just yanked. She sneered, "Make sure you hang on a little longer, alright? Dying too fast would be such a bore." The rain had been relentless lately, leaving the roads flooded and treacherous.

The Fated Series

The Fated Series

Pine and Fire The gates of Pine Wood Pack loomed high, wrought iron framed with stone, the crest of a wolf entwined with pine boughs carved above the arch. Beyond it, Evandra glimpsed the sweep of the forest—towering redwoods and firs rising like sentinels against the sky. Their resinous scent drifted in on the mountain breeze, earthy and sharp, clinging to everything. The SUV rolled to a halt, its tires crunching over gravel. Evandra’s hands fidgeted in her lap as she peered out the tinted glass. This was it. Her second homecoming, the second step on the path the Moon Goddess had laid before her.

Falling Back to the Way Home

Falling Back to the Way Home

I held the bag in the air, “I want the North End of the city.” North End has always been the territory controlled by the Russo family; it’s their headquarters. I knew he wouldn’t agree. He was never reckless enough to sacrifice his family’s reputation and wealth to make it up to an old flame he had. Unexpectedly, his reply, solid and certain, came back to me like a blow to the gut. “Sure. North End is yours.”

Bonus Chapter 17 – Cabin Getaway: Fireplace Worship (20-Year Anniversary Escape) Eli POV The cabin was buried deep in the Colorado pines no cell signal, no nearby lights, only snow-laden branches brushing the roof and the steady pop of the stone fireplace Dante had stoked to life the second we stepped through the door.

Troubled Heart

Troubled Heart

Sherbourn. Even when Makayla was gearing up to take Stacey down, she was already setting up her next play. Four Pines wasn’t just another forest—it was sacred ground. Endangered species. Fragile ecosystems. And a thorn in the side of any developer with dollar signs in their eyes. Stacey had learned nothing. Or worse—she’d learned everything and was moving faster than anyone could keep up. GreenFlare: Can someone quietly send me everything you’ve got on Red Cedar and LSB? I need dates, properties, owners, and aliases.

Bryant truly is such a gifted writer. This is another great story that is absolutely worth a read! Loved the characters/their personalities and the differences they brought to the table that balanced each other out beautifully. As always author - job well done! Cant wait for more from you :)

Great read. As always, Author Bryant keeps you on the edge of your seat. Just enough spice to be spicy but not too much. I love that everything Bryant puts in her books has a purpose. There isn’t a spicy scene just to have one. Everything builds for the storyline and characters. Another 5 star.

The Wilder Games - Savage Surrender 1

The Wilder Games - Savage Surrender 1

I pinch a strip of wildmint between my finger and thumb, smear it along the rim, then breathe a thin thread of light into the metal seam. “Sleep,” I whisper. A flicker of green, then nothing. No hum. No bite. Dead quiet. I jerk my chin. “Cross.” They do, in order: Nythor silent as snowfall; Fenrick with a wolf’s careless grace; Hadrian with an expression that says the log has personally offended him and must be defeated with dignity. The pine groans under him and holds. I pretend not to smirk. Past the gorge, the woods hunker down into thicker shadow. The Split Cedar stands ahead like a lightning struck sentinel, its heart cleaved and stitched with lichen. Wards hum here, my fingers tingle b

Owned on the Ice M/M Romance

Owned on the Ice M/M Romance

“We’re going.” *** The drive was three hours north, the Mustang eating up the miles as the landscape shifted from campus sprawl to dense, snow-dusted pine forests. Jax had the heat on low, music playing softly, one hand resting on Ryder’s thigh most of the way. When they finally pulled up to Silver Pine Lake, the sight stole Ryder’s breath. The water was vast and perfectly frozen, its surface glowing like molten glass under the setting sun. Tall pines ringed the shore, their branches heavy with fresh snow. It was completely silent except for the soft crunch of their boots as they got out.

The Midnight Ward

The Midnight Ward

Well, everything that happened the night before was just me hallucinating. I went back to the second ward and thanked Quince sincerely. I also went to get myself checked up. Once I made sure I was alright, I left the hospital. As the sunlight spilled across the avenue lined with trees on both sides, I found a roadside stall. After the night of adventure, I was starving. I got out of the car to get some food. It was seven in the morning, but the streets were buzzing with people. I did not know if it was the trees, but I felt a chill down my back. I turned around and saw that man.
