We Both Read Books Novels & Stories

Anna nodded, her gaze shifting to the book I was still holding. I noticed her interest and held the book out slightly. "Wanna read it together?" I offered, surprising myself with how easily the words came out. Anna’s eyes lit up just a little, and she nodded, a small chuckle escaping her lips. It wasn’t much, but it was enough to make me feel like I wasn’t completely alone. I pulled my chair closer to hers, and we settled into a comfortable silence as we both leaned in to read.

“Missed you too, what you up to?” “Nothing much, reading” I grinned, giving him a peck on the nose. “What you reading?” Felix asked as we headed inside. “That book for English Studies. Thought it’s about time I greet Jay Gatsby” I smiled, heading towards the couch. “Should probably start reading it as well” Felix sighed, “But will probably just watch the movie in the end” he said, making me flinch. Being one of those anti-movie people when it came to books, it kind of hurt that Felix wasn’t like that.

I served them cookies and a non-alcoholic wine since Barbara doesn't take alcohol. "My love, you're going to do me a little favor with reading. You know how lazy we men could be at times to read a book after so much work. Buddy and I have been so busy to read a book that was recommended to us by our investors and he said we've got to be familiar with it even if is just a chapter of it if not he won't bother doing any business with us". I furrowed my brows at my best friend sweet lies and he winks at me.

Jameson had been reading a part in the bible he wanted to use for his sermon the next evening when his mother-in-law sat down beside him. Lucinda didn't say anything at all as she watched the tall trees at the back their house. Years spent living with her already clued him in that she had plenty to say. He bookmarked the page he was reading before closing the book. "And you wanted to say?" He asked. When she didn't say anything, he kept quiet and watched the trees with her.

I said. My lip twitched as I tried not to smile. He reached out and grabbed my bag of books. I opened my mouth to tell him to be gentle, but he beat me to it. “I hold precious cargo. I’ll be careful with them. Don’t worry,” he smiled. For a second there, I forgot about the book conversations we’ve had. Although he didn’t read the same genre, we would check in with each other about our current reads. He preferred mysteries and thrillers, while I enjoyed fiction and smut. Lots of smut.

As fate would have it, Tyler, a fellow book enthusiast, struck up a conversation about a novel they both held in their hands. Their exchange of words soon transcended the confines of casual banter, evolving into a connection that felt destined. Sophie found herself drawn to Tyler's intellect, his passion for literature mirroring her own. The bookstore became their sanctuary, a haven where shared laughter and thoughtful discussions wove the fabric of their growing bond.

They wandered through the aisles, running their fingers along spines that held countless worlds within their pages. Emily's eyes sparkled with excitement as she plucked a weathered book from the shelf. "Liam, look at this," she exclaimed, her voice filled with wonder. "It's a collection of love letters from different eras. Each page holds the raw emotions of someone's heart."

Isabella remarked, her eyes scanning the shelves. Lucas nodded, his excitement evident. "Absolutely! I could spend hours here. And look, Hannah loves books too!" Hannah beamed, her eyes sparkling with enthusiasm. "I can't resist the allure of books. There's something magical about them." Isabella turned to Hannah with a grin. "You and Lucas will get along just fine, then. He practically lives in this place." Lucas felt a sense of warmth in his heart as he watched Isabella and Hannah bond over their shared appreciation for literature. It was as if his two worlds were converging, and he couldn't have been happier.

Lila shook her head at me in pity, still roaming her eyes around the novel she was reading. "Are you even listening to me?" I snapped. She raised her head from the novel. "Of course, why not?" "As far as I remember, you've been reading that damn novel since I've been talking to you. What do people enjoy reading words?" "Because it's awesome." "How? You can rather watch a movie than read books." I slapped the book out of her hand. "This book… Alpha's Check Mate by Amaury, it's awesome. You really should read her books. Some people prefer reading books than watching movies." She rolled her eyes and picked the book from the floor.

Levy I’ve just gone up to my room with a glass of water and a book from our downstairs library I created for Dylan when he was younger. It’s grown from children’s books to adult reads. It warms my heart that he and I share the same love for certain authors. My favorite being Lee Child and James Patterson. Sometimes we’ll have our own guy’s book club meet, and yeah bikers read too! I wouldn’t tell my bro’s they’d rib me for it because they’re like that, except maybe Lex he reads a lot too.
