Her Soulmate (Are they meant to be?)

Her Soulmate (Are they meant to be?)

I started searching for a book to read and when I finally found one, Khloe and Natalie arrived. "Morning Khloe" they greeted "Morning guys. How was your night?" "It was fine and yours?" "Fine too. Let's get down to business" "Sure!!" They dropped their bags and also went to take the books they would read. "The time is 7:10 now meaning we only have 30 minutes to read so let's make use of our time wisely" I said to them We started reading and at exactly 7:40, my watch beeped signifying our time for reading is up.

Rah smiled in an understanding sort of way, and read. And at this Rah threw a book at Arthur, who caught it instinctively, and Rah himself slumped on the floor picking up another book, and started to read. And they read. They took a break for dinner. And they continued to read. In a few hours, they had read all the six books librarian had given Arthur. “We went through them rather quickly,” Arthur stretched.

I entered mine, went through the three books I had gotten from the store, and set them down on the bed. I folded my arms and read their names. The Claiming Rites, Finding the One, and Under the Red Moon. There was no order in which anyone should read these books, so I sat down and picked up The Claiming Rites. After an hour, I finished reading. The book made zero sense, and then I picked up Finding the One and spent another hour reading through it. While the first book was incomplete, the second made a little more sense. I picked up the third, which I had gone to Zion’s room with. I took my time reading, and another hour went by.

I'm finally giving a book 5 stars. the reason is that the story is absolutely amazing! it's so captivating, and I literally fall asleep reading it because I don't want to put it down. there are several grammatical errors, but it does not take away from the book. Harvard to stanford? not good though

So far this is one of the best books I’ve read on this app, the writer is so wonderfully involved welcoming ideas and comments. Which in my opinion shows how much she appreciates her readers. The amount of descriptiveness, information and detail really helps you visualize what your reading. Thanx!!

Midnight Strokes

Midnight Strokes

The workshop started small six people on Zoom every other Wednesday at 9 p.m., when Lagos had finally quieted enough for real listening. Adeyemi called it “Reading After Dark.” No syllabus. No grades. Just books, questions, and whatever came up when people felt safe enough to speak.

I told him one afternoon, reading one of his letters. Elijah was sitting next to me, with one hand on my belly. “Emmett has included a reading plan for the first year,” he said with amusement. “What books?” I asked, frowning. “Inter-tribe political history, an introduction to defensive strategy, and illustrated animal stories,” Elijah said with amusement. “At least he added some stories,” I muttered sarcastically. “The note says they’re meant to be a break between serious topics,” Elijah said seriously. I brought a hand to my face.

THE RETURN OF THE BILLIONAIRE’S EX-WIFE

THE RETURN OF THE BILLIONAIRE’S EX-WIFE

“And good morning to you, Little Miss Sunshine.” Lily grinned, hiding her face in Monica’s shoulder. The children trickled in one by one, some clutching stuffed animals, others still in their pyjamas. Monica settled onto the big braided rug in the children’s corner, Lily tucked in beside her. She opened a worn copy of Goodnight Moon and began reading, her voice lilting with warmth. Lily leaned against her, utterly absorbed. Monica had read a thousand books in her life, but reading to Lily felt different — as if every word was stitching together something that had been torn in both of them.

"I don't mind. It will be more fun, right?" "Yes!" Summer nodded, excitedly. "Then, let's just read story books tonight, okay, Uncle? Aunt Emily said there are a lot of good books in the library near the north corridor. I haven't had a chance to see it. I wonder how big it is, because there are so many books. Aunt Emily said there were thousands of them! How can there be so many books in a house? The people in this house must love reading." Louis stroked Summer's hair. "Yes, books are important for our brain. Before you go to bed, let's go to the library. You can choose any book to read together."

"Like what to eat and what to avoid, and all do and don't. "Really?" "Hmm" "Then I too need that book." "Sure." 'Until then, we can purchase an ebook and go through it.', Rex suggested. 'Agree. Whenever she will be sleeping, we will read those ebooks.' 'Yep! That's a perfect idea.' *****

The Dawn Falls

My brothers had always been there, Nana was there, Gelo and Mila were my partners, and these people in my school are friends I should cherish because they did not let me down. During weekends, Gelo would call my name from the outside of our house. We walked together to the lake and place a blanket near it. We will both read books for hours, sometimes giving comments while reading. I had dreamt of this before. A book date with someone I treasure the most. “You made me a reader. Though I still like watching movies and series, this hobby of reading is pulling me to it. There’s something with written words that I adore.”

Frequently Asked Questions

Nothing beats the magic of gathering around a book as a family, especially when it's something that sparks laughter and discussion. I'd wholeheartedly recommend 'The Phantom Tollbooth' by Norton Juster—it's a whimsical adventure packed with wordplay and clever lessons that both kids and adults adore. The protagonist Milo’s journey through the Lands Beyond feels like a shared inside joke, where every chapter unravels new puns or philosophical nuggets. My younger cousin and I still quote the 'Whether Man' scenes years later!

For something more visually engaging, 'The Arrival' by Shaun Tan is a masterpiece. This wordless graphic novel lets families interpret its immigrant story together, with each page inviting different theories about the protagonist’s surreal new world. It’s sparked some of our most heartfelt conversations about belonging and change. We spent hours pointing at tiny details in Tan’s illustrations, each spotting something the others missed.
