I picked it up and read the title. Thousand moments to die by Alina Gupta. "You've read this?" I lifted my eyes up to see him nodding. Of course, he would read it. His best friend wrote it. "It was a heartbreaking novel." I was shocked when I learned about Alina writing. It wasn't something I knew about. Hell most of the school didn't know Alina write. When in the start of the year, I saw it on f*, I was curious to read it. I bought it and I ended it in a day.

When we were all together we were stronger than steel and that was enough.” Emily smiled as they both wiped down Mr. Mabry’s chest and stomach area. “That sounds nice. Are the other people in the group going to come and visit?” “They’re all dead.” “Oh, I’m so sorry. That was silly of me to say.” “What can you do? It happens to us all. There’s no fighting it. They were all infected except me.”

Just how dreadful it all could be?” She asks but somewhat anticipating the darkness that it brings rather than the good and light that one can hope for. “This is the world and the book that those seven originals are imprisoned. Am I right, Carlos?”

Auntie murmured, voice low. She nodded. “I know. But we’ll make it work. We always do.” But the truth was, Autumn had never felt more alone. Everything she had been reading for months in that book was coming to fruition. The silence in the house after dark was so complete, she sometimes pressed her palm to her chest just to feel her own heartbeat.

I was completely alone. As like when I first heard the news of his death, I seemed to lose all control of my body as I lay against the wall and wept uncontrollably. Maybe this is really my fault, everyone I love seems to end up dying the same way, maybe I should simply live alone for the rest of my days, loving anyone in anyway is obviously, too dangerous for them and myself. Everything I touch always leaves in the end, no matter what I do, I’m always back in the same situation lost, injured and alone.
