At the sight of her, the room fell so silent, she could have heard a piece of straw hit the marble floor. Lily gulped. Each one of them was massive—alpha wolves comparable to Rebel or the Grey Wolf warriors. But unlike the cowboys at Wolf Pack Run who were rough around the edges, these wolves looked nearly as feral as Rebel, and if their leader’s reputation was any indication, they too were criminals. They definitely looked the part. Rough around the edges didn’t cut it—jagged was a better description.

His eyes met mine one last time before he took a deep breath and shifted. His bones cracked and within seconds, his wolf form stood in front of me. It was sleek, dark gray, and looked strong but it was smaller than Kaden’s massive brown wolf. Kaden’s wolf let out a deep growl, showing his sharp teeth before lunging again. Kellan’s wolf tried to dodge, but Kaden tackled him hard to the ground. They rolled over each other, teeth snapping, claws ripping into flesh. Kellan’s wolf managed to bite down on Kaden’s shoulder, but Kaden shook him off like he weighed nothing.

Why did Remus have to refuse her? “It’s too clean.” Remus said. Eyes still on the photos in front of him. Helicent smiles. She expects nothing less from the Alpha. She pointed at the smears of blood and on how it splattered, “Apart from where the Delta Wolves died, there are no other blood traces anywhere.” She then showed the marks on the grass, and the footprints left on the soft earth. Joel replied as he looks directly to Anna's face. And can understand that Anna is so confused right now. "If then they are wolves too, while the hell are they giving you guys the opportunity to kill werewolf?" Anna asked with a confused look on her face. "Because they are evil, forget about Aaron, the other werewolves that exist before him" Joel said as he takes a breathe. "Were all evil, and some are still evil presently so... That's it, they fight crime sometimes" Joel explained. While Anna nods her head slowly.

“I love you too.” It's almost sunrise by the time we leave the woods. We take our time to wash in a stream and scrub the scent of each other's bodies from our skin. I could easily stay here with him for the rest of my life. Everything seems so much easier when it's just the two of us. Finally, as the first rays of the breaking dawn penetrates the canopy, we get out of the water, dress and return to the camp. We stop dead, trying to understand what we're seeing. Wolves. Strong, powerful, healthy wolves have invaded our camp. Our rogues are terrified, huddling together, trying to get as far away from the newcomers as they can get without outright running away.

Dean’s POV continued- The cells are usually kept pretty dark. Since the wolves have better night vision it’s not a problem for them, but when we turn the bright spot lights on it sure makes it a lot worse for them too. We keep the observation area dark so the rogue can’t see everyone in the room. I decided not to tell Alec and Zander because, well, I still wanted to have a little fun. We got to the interrogation area and I held up a hand so they knew to hold back a bit, then I gave the signal for the lights. The flinching and barely audibly cursing coming from the wolves? Worth it. It took a second for them to recover and I tried my best to hide my smirk as Alec looked at me.
