CHAPTER 17 ZYLIAH'S POV "Babies, come here." I beckoned to my sons, who were staring at this tall, well-built frame of a man the same way they usually stared at their individual favorite superhero figures-Captain America and Batman. Captain America for Waylen, Batman for Casper. The intrigue and admiration in their eyes was as surprising as it was terrifying. No, it couldn't be. "Waylen. Casper." I repeated, not taking my eyes off this guy with an imposing and impressively intimidating aura.

But after a few seconds, he frowned slightly. Seeing his expression, Cristofer became nervous and flustered. He immediately squatted down and took Yohan's hand, saying, “Hi, Yohan. It’s Dad.” Still frowning, Yohan walked around him and asked in confusion, “Dad, do you really have a superpower?” “What?” Cristofer was confused. “Mrs. Moorsum said you are a superhero. Dad, what superpower do you have?” Amused by his words, Cristofer laughed and said, “Only when I need to beat the bad guys can I show my superpower. At other times, I can’t let others know about my superpower and have to keep a low profile.”

"That's right. The person I've always liked is Chris. I only went out with Swain because he kept pestering me. You guys better stay away from this trash, he might steal your power next!" Her words made me public enemy number one, and even the guy who had fought alongside me looked at me with contempt and suspicion.
