Wealthy Italian Surnames Novels & Stories

The money would not be an issue for them anymore. "Sabby…back to earth…hello!" Victoria snapped her fingers in front of Sabrina who was lost in her imaginary world. Sabrina blinked as she got out of her trance of her brilliant future. “Velenoso. Is it an Italian name?" "Yup. That's the main attraction I have with him. He is an Italian. His name literally means Poisonous and I want to meet this lethal man." Victoria scoffed. "Well good luck to you. As far as I know, these mobsters are some fifty-year-old grandpa's."

The aura emanating from him is so strong that I find myself taking a step back. Dominic Thorgha, one of Italy’s richest men and he comes from old money. When I mean old money, I mean money so old that it belongs in a museum. I have heard about him, read about him but never have I ever seen his face until today. He owns the biggest jewelry company in the country, more like he makes them. He starts to walk towards me, breaking me away from my thoughts. Each stride screams of opulence, wealth, class and whatnot.

“Powerful enough that even politicians think twice before crossing them.” He picked up his glass again. “The Romano family isn’t just rich. They’re old money. They own shipping companies, luxury hotels, vineyards, private banks, and real estate across Europe.” He paused. “And that’s only the legal side of their business.” I looked at him. “And the illegal side?” Luca gave me a meaningful look. “Let’s just say… people don’t become one of Italy’s most feared mafia families by playing fair.” I let out a slow breath. “So my mother wants to tie the Martino family to the Romanos.”

"I have some questions, and I need you to answer them honestly." Rosa nodded, her posture attentive. "Of course, signora. Whatever you need." I settled into one of the armchairs, my mind racing as I tried to formulate my questions. Rosa had been with the Salvatore household longer than me so she has to have heard something. After all, maids hear and gossip a lot than they show. "What can you tell me about the Riccis?" I asked. Rosa's eyebrows rose slightly. "The Riccis, signora? They are one of the most prominent families in Italy. Wealthy. Influential."

"She... she knew her place! She knew I would destroy her if she tried to leverage a bastard against my family!" "No, Dad, she didn't care about your money because your net worth was pocket change to her family!" I spat out, my eyes narrowing, each word costing me a fresh wave of pain I refused to show. "And what about his name? Jaxx's legal last name has been Moretti his entire life! You knew that!" "That doesn't count, Graham!" Sebastian shouted back, his voice rising in sheer desperation, cracking at the edges like ice under too much weight. "People share surnames all the time! Italy is full of Morettis! It means nothing!"

Millicent shrugged her shoulders “I guess it's a good thing my cousins don't have a grandmother like you. They deserve to only live with people who are as sweet and kind as they and their parents are.” “You insolent girl! You have no idea what carrying that surname really means!” “And do you know?” Millie countered “Because, as far as my father told me, you weren't born with the surname Bianchi either, were you? Until your marriage, you were a Morelli. And it's with what's left of the fortune and companies that this family you follow trying to sabotage my father and my uncle, just to try to convince our partners and investors that my father isn't a competent enough CEO, is he? I think mayb

Their leader, Valentino Falcone, towered above nearly everyone else in the room. The final family arrived. The Deverecci Consortium. Old European money. Their wealth stretched across banks, pharmaceutical companies and international shipping routes. Their patriarch, Luciano Deverecci, carried himself less like a criminal, more like an emperor visiting subjects. Every family in this room had survived nearly four hundred years to be here. We didn't survive through luck. We survived because everyone else died first. Within minutes... Five great families stood beneath one roof. Costello. Capone. Visconti.

The top of my head barely reaches his armpits unlike Lucas. "Alessandro Vito Lombardi." He responds blankly, reaching out his hand to me. I tentatively extend my hand to his, the warm skin of his hand wrapping around mine, little tingles meeting where his skin touches mine. His hand is warm, and the callouses on his hands rub against the soft skin of mine. Wait. Vito Lombardi as in... Vito enterprises. As in... the richest man in both America and Italy... The ruthless Billionare....that Vito Lombardi. Oh god. Why? Why me?

"Sharon Brooke, who gave you the guts to touch my sister?" His gaze cut through the crowd before pinning her again. "And who gave you the right to point at my dad—Costante Visconti, San Aureli's richest man—and my mom, and call them old bastard? Low-class scum? New-money trash?" The richest man in San Aureli?! The hallway erupted. "My god, it's that Visconti family?" "She's the heiress?!" "Sharon just called the wealthiest family scum and trash..." "She's toast. Look at Mr. Dickson—dude's about to melt."

They would have been good allies, but I doubted they would be willing to help with a matter that didn’t affect them. South from them was the Silver Moon, neighbor for both Blood Moon and Blue Moon. They were about the same size as the Blue Moon, but had quite a poor reputation. Their Alpha, Matteo D’Angeli, was a descendant of an old Italian family, who immigrated during the first World War. Even though they have been living here for generations, they nurtured their old Italian traditions. Such as being involved with the mafia. Richard maintained a good relationship with Alpha Matteo, but I always thought he was an arrogant dick. I highly doubted Duncan had any better opinion about him.
