Weather In Great Gatsby Novels & Stories

Hilda blushed and took out her mobile phone. Jenna clenched her fists tightly as she thought "Hansen, do you think it's fun to do this?" Hansen smiled bitterly in his heart and reached out to take the cigar handed to him by Frederic. He lit it up and took a deep breath. With the cigar between his fingers, he turned on the computer and started tapping his fingers on the keyboard and suddenly said, "The weather is fine today. It seems that it may rain for the next two days." "There's no need to be afraid of rain. It's even more exciting that way," said Chester, who was brave and lofty-spirited.

She’d have nothing of her husband left. The wind was cold off the water, and Violet shivered. She wished she’d brought a hat and scarf, even in May. The clouds threatened rain, gray and stormy in the distance, yet Violet didn’t mind. Standing in front of a railing, with the rolling hills and industrial remnants of Gas Works Park behind her, she tried to figure out what she wanted to do.

Because neither George or Glee— Richard started at the thought, nearly dropping his drink. Glee. That’s why he was uneasy, apprehensive. Sure. Glee fucking Deadmond. George sat down in his recliner and cleared his throat. “What do you think of this heat of ours?” “It’s a treat,” said Richard. “Flurries are already flying in Maine.” “That right? Well, it’ll be happening here eventually. Bad storms out west, I guess, heading this way. Big cold front. Warm air won’t be around for long, I’m afraid.”

It is unnerving. I walk toward the window so that he can’t see my smile. “Thank you.” The sky is full of grey clouds, and rain ricochets off the loch. The scenery, and the weather, is so different to the sun-drenched city beyond the Southlands palace walls. Ethan comes to stand behind me and his scorching body heat burns into my back. “Miserable day, isn’t it?” he says. “It rains a lot up here. I don’t suppose you’re used to such weather down in the south?”

Thursday, October 5th Grayson knew he should have been in Boston by now, and yet, there he was, standing in front of his Upper West Side brownstone, a victim of the changeable New York weather. Hail had pummeled the tarmac, which in turn had dismissed all hope of air travel, and sent him home for the night. He had rebooked a flight early tomorrow morning with enough time he needed to arrive for the meeting in Boston… Just

I said brightly into the phone. “Cassandra,” she said, her voice light and airy. “How IS the weather there, dear? I saw on the news that the coast was expecting a heat wave. Is it awful? Tell me. Is it like living underground in fiery pits of hell?” I chuckled. The weather had taken a strange turn and it was unseasonably warm for this time of year. It was the sort of heat we usually only experienced in the dead of summer. But it wasn’t anywhere near ‘the fiery pits of hell’.

At a cafe on the street, Victoria sat by the french window as she waited for Lydia. She looked slightly absent-minded. The weather was not too hot, but the cloudy sky seemed to indicate that the weather might be changing soon. Sea City’s autumn season was always short-lived, and all it had was either the autumn rain, or cold weather. Victoria's fingertips were a little cold. Her fingers never became warm again, even though she had been holding the warm coffee mug for a long time.

After that, they quickly followed her. “Beep, beep, beep…” As soon as Xyla walked out of the office, her phone started ringing. She was greeted with a cold breeze. When the breeze got beneath her clothes, she shivered. The weather was slightly unusual this year in Atlantis, unlike in past years. Although it was already the end of spring, it still felt as cold as the beginning of spring on certain nights. The roses by the road not too far away had already been moved from pots to the ground. They were in full bloom.

The temperature had barely hit the upper forties today and, with dusk an hour off, it promised to drop. A chill laced the breeze and the scent of snow clung to it. Nate had grown up in the Midwest where all he had to do was blink and the weather shifted, but Wyoming was a whole different level of bipolar.

When they got outside, Kate pulled the hood of her oversize sweater over her head, then put on a pair of glasses because it was raining and at the same time the sun was shining brightly. "Why is the weather like this? It's so weird." She grumbled. Horatio glanced down at Scarlet and chuckled. "Scarlet did this?" Kate asked, not liking the weather either. Horatio tried to hide his laugh. "Disgusting," Elijah said as he walked past them. Horatio glanced at Scarlet. "Yes, I know, and like I said. Disgusting," Elijah said where he stands at the car door. "Why is it disgusting?" Kate asked, not knowing what was going on.
