Zeus held his wife's hand as if telling her that everything will be over soon. "Father, we must protect my sister!" Aris spoke. I murmured. “ I guess, you're right,” mom chuckled briefly. “ Selene and Amphitrite were sisters; twin sisters to be precise with Selene being the older twin. I won't go into much details but during the most devastating war thousands of years ago, Amphitrite had to protect Selene’s daughter but she could only do that using a small clan from the hamlet her sister had formed who worshipped her since they lived by the riverside. The clan members hid Selene’s daughter until the war was over so as a reward for their commitment and help, Amphitrite gave them supernatural abilities and they became the second family to be directly intertwined with a crucial spiritual being,” mom concluded. “ Ohh, no

The audience howls to mimic the pack of hounds every time Kas mentions the dogs, making the story even more engaging. The next story is about the Moon Goddess and her siblings Helios, God of the Sun and Eos, Goddess of the Dawn. The story explains how the trio loved each other and used the sky as their playground, playing with time like a toy. When the dawn of man arose, the Titan Goddess Gaia had a squabble with Zeus. She threatened to create an herb that would make her giants of the land invincible. To thwart her efforts to grow the herb, Zeus ordered the siblings to separate, regulating the time each was allowed in the sky. Unfortunately, it was never at the same time. Ever since then, th

So, I felt that Helios, known for bringing light to the world, would definitely be a suitable God for the Fae to follow. While Selene and Helios are not typically depicted as siblings, Selene is the daughter of the Titans Hyperion and Theia and Helios is the son of Hyperion. This means they are half siblings, and even though the Fae do not worship the moon like the Wolf-Shifters, Selene is still revered by them. The Dark Fae are another matter. They worship neither Helios nor Selene. The most suitable Goddess for them to worship is Nyx, the primordial goddess of the night. Nyx is often portrayed as one of the earliest divine beings, emerging from Chaos at the beginning of creation.

Unlike many other Greek gods and goddesses, Demeter was not mentioned very often by Homer, but her legend in relation to Persephone was likely quite ancient. Zeus, unlike his sister and fourth wife, Demeter, is much more widely known. His exploits and various relationships have marked most of Greek mythology in one way or another. Zeus was the chief deity of the Olympian pantheon and served as God of the Sky. He was seen as a ruler, protector, and father to both gods and human beings and was often represented by lightning bolts and eagles. In addition to her parents, Persephone had one full sibling, a minor deity named Iacchus, and a myriad of half-siblings from both her mother and father.

They’re happy and clearly in love, and I realise with some irony that both my friends have ended up with women I once said I’ll make my lunas. Carlos tried to step down as Delta again but I shut it down once and for all. Making it clear that only I had the power to kick him off and I am not going to. Hera, the goddess who is revered, was the villain… it’s a confusing concept, but her selfishness and cruelty are not a secret even in myths. But to know she is on the side who wants the barrier gone, it begs the question… What of Zeus? Does he exist or does he go by another name? How much of mythology is right and how much is wrong? Answers I will find, one fucking way or another.

“Surely you have friends and family. When we moved here, I hated my mother because I had a life in Manhattan.” “Yeah, Manhattan was fun. I miss it too.” Hera was a talkative wolf. he suggested. I nodded, leading the way back to my House. As I recall, he and Melanthios were both of Zeus, while Melanthios older sons joined different Houses. Ajax is a member of House Apollo, while Dorian is a member of Poseidon. I don’t think I could have pictured any of them in Ares. If we accepted women, I think their sister Iynx would have fit, but she’s better off in House Artemis. It is, after all, where she met her wife, the retired Lady Artemis. “I suppose that’s true. Your brothers joined Poseidon and Apollo Houses, and your sister more than pledged to Artemis." I chuckled.
