Werewolf Mates Romance Books Novels & Stories

It did seem odd to Everly that she seemed to be making a difference between him and her, even though they were both shifters now—weren’t they? “Does that mean that Jack will have trouble finding me?” Everly asked. “Who?” Margot asked, her eyes wide as she leaned forward and blinked several times. “Jack,” Everly said. “My boyfriend—the next Alpha of the Lichtwolf pack, the one who saved me from becoming a werewolf.” “Oh, no, dear. He shouldn’t have any trouble following you. You’re his mate, aren’t you?” Margot smiled at her, and Everly nodded, feeling the mark on her neck heat slightly at just the thought.

For freaking real. "Then, watch me," I gave him one more hard glare before turning the other way. Matteo caught me, Swinging me around to face him. I gasped, taken aback by his guts. The fucking guts he had. I watched as his eyes stayed on my lips. No way I was gonna kiss. No way, and I meant it this time. This was no human I was dealing with. This was an animal. A wolf. A lower fucking animal. But that knowledge only made me more hesitant in accepting the truth. How could a guy...his could someone with such nice blue eyes—eyes like an Angel's—be a wolf? How could a guy with the coldest, yet sexisest stare be a wolf. How…? How did that all add up? I knew how mesmerized I used to be, how my

I started to cry and ran into the back room away from everyone, especially the Dark Wolf. Seconds later Raven and Wyatt came into the room. “Azura what’s wrong?!” Both of them said at the same time. In between cries I managed to say, “The Dark Wolf is my mate!” Both Raven and Wyatt gasped. “Are you sure it’s him?” Raven cam over to hold me. “My wolf kept jumping and saying mate mate mate as soon as I locked eyes with him! Yes I am sure it’s him!” I yelled. “Why him?!” I cried some more in Raven’s arms and that’s when I felt the rush again, I knew he was close.

“How…?” “Pack magic,” he said shortly. “Rare.” He moved to her leg, his touch gentler. Her wolf stirred, reaching for him. She tried to fight it, but the bond pulsed between them—bright, unignorable. Mate. Her breath hitched. Austin froze, his eyes meeting hers. “You feel it too,” she whispered. He pulled back like she’d burned him. “No.” “Liar.” He stood, fists clenched. “This changes nothing.”

The sacred mate bond… uniting their four souls as one. Riley was beyond herself with the attention and love she received from her mates. The two wolves inside her were howling and dancing, pushing her to fully embrace the bond. If Riley were in her right mind, she might have hated herself for giving in to those who once betrayed her and continued to deceive her. But right now, none of that mattered. She needed them all. She needed her mates. “I… I need… more…” she moaned. No more words were necessary. Her eyes, filled with longing and desire, spoke volumes.

“What law?” He handed her a worn, leather-bound journal. Pages yellowed with time. Symbols she recognized only vaguely. Moon-touched language. “The last wolf mated twice,” he said, “wasn’t cursed.” She opened the book, heart racing. “She was a weapon.”

She drummed her fingers into the dirt as she tried to make sense of this. Either she had very quickly bonded to this group, and she was feeling some weird psychosomatic sensations, or… Mate. “Nope, not ready to confront that,” she sighed, pulling her knees to her chest. Still, that word drifted around her mind. As much as it felt like a foreign sensation, she had seen werewolves mated to humans before. At the same time, it felt uncomfortable, having someone else possibly in her mind like this. She needed to talk to him.

I needed a higher leverage over her, and I knew just how to get it. "Besides," I added. "There's really no need for me to hold the Welfare position, since I am going to be Luna of the pack." The statement hit the room like a storm. Mason, Ryder, and Dallas froze completely, their eyes wide as they stared at me in utter disbelief. "Harper," Mason rasped. "Are you saying you agree? You're letting us mate and mark you?" I turned to my three Alphas, offering a soft smile. "Yes. I agree."

I nearly flinched at her touch but restrained myself. "The pack is suffering because the Alpha is unmated," she whispered, trying again to force me into a mate bond. "Look at our pack, Trent. The plants can barely grow. Our food reserves are empty. Our pack wolves are dropping dead one after the other. The Elders suggested we complete the mate bond to bring stability to the pack but you have refused." I finally turned to look at her. She was still as beautiful as the day I met her, so what was my problem? Our son died some months ago and we had been closer than ever during that period.

“Well, speaking of sniffing, I heard you were using my perfume again. Since when did you start caring about romance?” “Fell in love, or what?” I teased. Mia rolled her eyes, pretending to be offended. “I’m not in love! I just found a book about werewolves in love — it’s so exciting and romantic! They went through so much and found their way back to each other. They could even heal each other! I wish I could do that someday.” These days, werewolf romance books are everywhere, painting breathtaking tales of unearthly love. But in reality, not everyone finds their true mate. Many marriages are out of convenience, or just happen to be with the wrong person.
