Despite my reprimands, the wolf ignores me. I pressed my fingers against my temples. This damn wolf was trying to give me a headache. He retorted, "It's better than your off-key croaking," believing that he sings better than I do.

I grin, and when he doesn’t respond, I take it up a notch. “You know, this reminds me of a joke. What do you call an angry werewolf who doesn’t get his way?” Trix finally looks at me, the corner of his mouth twitching like he’s fighting a smile. “Please don’t.” “A howl-ter ego crisis!” I exclaim, my eyes wide with fake seriousness. “Get it? Because you’re having one right now.” He groans, but the tiniest hint of a laugh escapes his lips, and my heart leaps at the sound. “Moon Goddess, Dixie! That was awful.”

“But Aion is right. You need to keep calm. It won’t do to let anyone know how much you care about this girl already. Everyone’s nervous now that the rumor has gotten out that she’s a witch.” “I still don’t understand how that got out so quickly,” said Roman. Aion glanced over at the two of them. “We are part of a werewolf pack that can sense people’s emotions and mind read each other sometimes. Don’t worry. When she gets back, we’ll keep her close.” Roman smiled. He was glad that they had welcomed Nora so quickly and could only hope that the rest of the pack would follow suit. “She’s here,” Aion said, “I just saw the car pull up to the building.”

It is a physical reaction. I want to scream and I want to hurt someone and I want to destroy the whole world. I look up at the sky, my werewolf eyes can see the moon like a ghost in the sky even though it is day. “Curse you, moon bitch, for doing this to me, curse you”.

"Put her on trial! Give her punishment!" Familiar pack mates of the past bared their fangs at me, glaring viciously as if they wanted to tear me to pieces right then and there. My body trembled even more violently; my wolf , dormant for years, was stimulated into waking and kept sending desperate pleas to Silas. Tears streamed endlessly from my eyes as I tried to soothe my wolf . The witch's face blurred before my eyes; she hesitated for a moment and looked up at Silas on the dais.

“The guy I met last weekend — umm, what's his name again? Barry or maybe Larry, shit I can’t remember his name, but he just didn't do it for me—Maybe I just need to meet the right guy.” AWOOOO! A loud howl ripped through the silent night, startling the girls. The werewolf was pissed, how dare this Barry or Larry touched her. How dare he sampled what rightfully belonged to him. He told himself if he ever got his paws on this filthy guy, his head would roll, literally. It howled again, louder this time. “What the hell was that?” Katherine asked as she grabbed onto her friend.

The female Dire wolf howled in anguish into the air and her fellow dire wolves rallied to her side. "You blood suckers will all die!!" Luperca screamed like a banshee as she bowled bodily into the vampire troops. Luperca and her wolven brethren cut, bit, slashed and ripped their way through the vampire force, never stopping to take note of their numerous injuries or bruises. Luperca with grief shrouding her eyes, had been transformed into a hurricane of claws and life ending blows as the female Dire wolf tore through the ranks of Vampires who fought back valiantly but were no match for a vengeful Werewolf.

"What do you want to ask me?" He gled at my face and then said, "Sarah, since you work for my brother, you must know who he is, right?". "Yeah, a werewolf." I responded.. "But a cursed one, do you not know?". The look on his face darkened. His questions came off as suspicious, but despite that, I still answered him. "He told me... Is there anything else you want to know?".I did a dramatic pause before continuing... "Yeah, do you mind if I take a strain of your head?".He paused after his ridiculous request...

The golden pup’s fur began to crack with glowing lines, radiating a blinding light that made it impossible for anyone to keep their eyes open. “A true Golden Werewolf! I can’t see!” “It’s coming! It’s coming!” Everyone craned their necks and kept their eyes wide, trying desperately to catch a glimpse. Damian laughed loudly. “A Divine Werewolf descends! All shall bow before me! I am the King of the Werewolf Alliance!” As the light began to dim, the pup’s form started to shift. The crowd held its breath. “What is that?” “A black werewolf?” At the very moment everyone expected glory, the golden pup transformed into a grotesque, malformed Omega Black Werewolf.

Aurora’s POV I shove my face in the pillow, wanting to scream. Would anyone hear me if I did? Werewolves have exceptional hearing, but there isn’t anyone close by- that I know of- who could hear me. Lifting my head, I glance around the room and almost laugh at myself. No one is going to pop out of the closet or magically appear. So, I smush my face back in the pillow and scream. I let out all my frustration and anger on the pillow, but then, the door burst open, and I jump, my scream filling the room instead of the pillow.
