Sara's POV "I, Richardson Dawson, Alpha of the Moonlit pack, reject you, Sara Tierra , as my mate and Luna of this pack," I heard Richardson 's voice reach my ear, and a single tear ran down my left cheek as it felt like my heart was being ripped out of my chest.

Alexis explains to me, “Selene is the moon goddess and mother of all werewolves. But during the Blue Moon, the reason the wolves become dormant is that Selene kind of takes a few nights' rest. Which is when a friend of hers oversees the wolves on her behalf.” “Steff?” I asked Alexis. I then told Alexis about my encounter with Steff and that she and Selene had been watching us. I was dying and thought it was a dream. But now maybe, just maybe, I had an encounter with the goddess of the blue moon. “I think I met Steff for a reason. The Moon goddess wants us to live. Maybe that is the reason she wouldn’t let me die.” I suggested to Alexis.

She must have noticed my bad mood and she immediately changed the topic again. “ I wonder why you’ve been feeling that way 'cause that only happens when the red moon is approaching and …” then she stopped. “Oh moon goddess…” she cried out. “What’s going on? What’s the red moon doing in my business?” I said. “Sie? What happens during the red moon?” She asked with a serious look. “It’s a day before the full moon when werewolves find their wolf and get to bond with them and then the next night which is the full moon is when werewolves find their mate!” I explained.

Being a wolf was new to him, but he was determined not to let that show. He bent to lap gently from the water just as the full moon crested over the waterfall.
