I mean, what would it hurt if they can’t bite me? “You do know that they have other abilities, right? Mind control. Telepathy. Telekinesis. They can teleport. Sometimes their fangs are the last thing they need to attack you.” “Right. I looked like a child playing dress-up. I walked out of the bathroom and Creed went in. I grabbed the book Liam lent me on werewolves earlier and moved to sit cross-legged on the bed. I opened up the book and on the first page was a drawing of a wolf. It was a decent drawing and it looked like the person took time shading it in. On the top corner of the page was a list of weaknesses and strengths. There were only three weaknesses which were; aconite, silver, and their mates. Their strengths included; superhuman strength, speed, nocturnal vision, ultrasonic hearing, rapid healing, and an enhanced sense of smell.

The casual way she said it, like being a supernatural creature was just another biographical detail, made something in my chest tighten. “I moved a shipment car,” I said quietly. “With my mind. That’s not normal, even for werewolves, is it?” Luna’s expression became more serious. “No. That’s something else. Werewolves get enhanced strength, speed, and healing. Some of us get special abilities tied to our class—enforcers are stronger, scouts are faster, and alphas can command pack members. But telekinesis?” She shook her head. “That’s rare, Really rare.”

“ I see, so this Is it?... The words painted a vivid picture of their extraordinary abilities, transcending the boundaries of what I had once believed to be possible. Werewolves possessed superhuman strength in all their forms; their human guise, their intermediate state, and their fearsome wolf-like manifestation. The power scale, however, differed across these forms, with their strength reaching its peak in their formidable wolf-like shape. It was a realization that left me in awe of their primal might and the sheer magnitude of their existence.

Lola chuckled, “Magic powers?” No one laughed and Tristan responded, “All the wolves from the Fire Wolf clan were born with magical abilities. Like reading minds, hurting people by looking at them, controlling water, teleporting, speaking to animals and so much more. What is a werewolf’s power? They were physically strong and able to tackle down any prey that is substantially larger than them. Their bodies can easily heal and also shift into their wolf form when in distress. Their night vision is spectacular and their sense of smell is something out of the world. Comparing that to a vampire’s strength, there were a lot of places where vampire comes below them. Vampires are not physically strong. They are susceptible to burn in the sun, not tan. They can’t run as fast as a werewolf or smell anything distinct. Without blood, vampires lose their energy and their body digresses faster than any human.

I also explained that the supernatural council, composed of the oldest member of each species, served as a liaison between our world and the human one.
