Santino's POV Santino stood before the panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows, his long fingers drumming restlessly on the mahogany desk. As night fell, his agitation grew. Getting rid of Jessy was just the first step. Now, he had to get back what was truly his. His top aide entered and handed him a top-secret file. "Don, we've found the Donna. She's in Lumina, on the West Coast. She opened an art gallery." He opened the file. The first thing he saw was a telephoto shot.

A breeze drifted through the window, and he reached up instinctively to drape her shawl over her shoulders. I stared at the scene, like something sharp twisting slowly in my chest. Still, I sent Aido a message. "Tonight is Christmas Eve. Will you come home?" Across the corridor, I watched Aido glance down at his phone. Less than three seconds later, his expression unchanged, he pressed the screen dark and slipped it back into his pocket. He didn't reply. I almost laughed. What was I even hoping for? I took a deep breath, put my phone away, and turned to leave. Soon enough, Aido wouldn't be bothered by Leo and me anymore.

As it turned out, Christopher had noticed the ruby ring on my right ring finger—a ring that only the Donna was entitled to wear. And now it was on my hand. I was still thinking of how to explain when Christopher suddenly sneered. "I can't believe you'd go so far as to steal the Don's ring just to get my attention." "The Don gave me this. I'm not a thief, and I'm certainly not short of money!" I snapped, pulling my hand free quickly.

I went upstairs instead to the only place that still felt like mine and shut the door behind me. The room was a quiet place for the fury to pulse. I paced. I threw myself on the bed, the silk cool against my cheek. My hands still smelled faintly of the training mat and something metallic from the day before. I could feel the weight of being Donna settling over me like an ill-fitting cloak.

She doesn't need to give them any reason to think that she already found her mate. "I guess you're right." She gets up off the bed walking over to me. "Everything going to be okay Donna " I give her a hug before we leave out her room. Riding in the back seat with Donna while listening to Josh and Nate go on talking about finding their mates today. Nate is Josh's best friend and Donna big brother. He will be Josh beta when he takes over the pack. I look over at Donna. She hasn't said anything since we got in the car, just been staring out the window the whole time.

“And she also waded off Jade when she was being a bitch-“ Josh added and I tried so hard not to laugh. “Joshua! we didn’t condone such words in this house especially about your sister, apologize.” Rachael ordered, Josh didn’t need to be told twice and apologized . “I really wanted this to be a normal night, but that’s too much to ask.” Donovan stated having another bite of his meal, he was clearly disappointed, “Yet you’re the one asking for if his engagement is fake,” Lucas mumbled playing with his fork. If Donovan heard him I don’t know but the man ignored his son and everyone continued eating.

Joshua wants to cry when he remembers that Addison is born in winter, making her a year and exactly 10 months younger than Joshua. The general public would surely be outraged if they found out that his father went from being married to his mother, one of the most influential women in the country to dating a 21 year old girl, not to mention... what his mother’s friends would say about that. Unless they’ve been brainwashed like Dallas and Skye, they will undoubtedly share Joshua’s concerns about Addison definitely using Javan. At around 10 a.m., Joshua’s morning brightens when Milo finally pays him a visit in his villa.

"Your girl? Where were you when she was struggling? Let me remind you. You were out enjoying life with Whitney. And now, you suddenly remember Yvette? Does she even recognize you? Don't forget, in her mind, I'm the real Josh." They traded blow after blow, neither holding back. When they were finally exhausted, both of them collapsed onto the ground, breathing hard. Still, neither admitted defeat. Then, Josh suddenly laughed. "Donald, you're just my stand-in. The name she calls… It's mine, Josh." The light in Donald's eyes dimmed. He quietly said that he was aware. After that, neither of them spoke again. One stupid game had trapped them both. Even after beating each other half to death, neit

They all started trying to mediate. "Donna, the Don's just been injured. Maybe his mind's unsettled." "Yeah, just let Camilla try for now. In seven days." Seven days? They thought I would hand over my position and wait quietly for Camilla to take my credit and rise to power? I gave a sharp, humorless laugh. "Why bother going in circles? I'm filing for a divorce right now."
