West With Giraffes Audio Book Novels & Stories

Gerey stood up - Jeyrin still concealed in the dark of the library desk, and went to a rack of books. ‘GEOGRAPHY AND FAIRYTALE SECTION’ spelled at the top of the shelf and as Gerey scanned from book to book, he remembered a few he'd read at school, ‘Knowing Wabrook's Water Brooks and Bodies’ by Whitaker Flarogue, ‘Sunset at Ingfalls’ by Simponie Gugh, ‘The best habitat for all - Ingfalls - Book One’ by Cuulambs Nicktra, but they were not what he searched for.

He keeps talking, filling the jeep with his voice—low, light, annoyingly pleasant, occasionally dropping into that serious, husky rumble that sets my nerves on edge. He starts recounting a story about a clumsy elder named Barnaby who once tried to move a ward stone with a backhoe, resulting in two days of rain inside the pack house. He’s clearly trying to relax me, trying to paint a picture of a normal, if slightly eccentric, community. My nerves, however, are a tight tangle of knots. The wolf is still silent, the silence almost deafening after Zeke’s recent outburst of Alpha power. I reach for the radio and crank the volume, needing a loud, jarring noise to break the heavy tension and Zeke’

Zack was leaning on the window, excitedly looking outside. Through the car window, he saw many animals coming and going beside the car from time to time. There were musk deer, giraffes, and even zebras, and camels arrogantly stuck their huge heads into the car windows, twitching their thick lips, begging for carrots and apples. This was his first time visiting Safari Park. He knew a lot of animals, but either he saw them through encyclopedias or he got to know them through educational TV programs. This was the first time he had seen live animals!

The wall didn't fall, but a small, heart-shaped gap opened in the light, just wide enough for a single skiff. "Go, Kaelen! Go!" I slammed the helm forward. The Void-Runner shrieked as it tore through the gap. We burst through the other side just as the silver spears of the Sentinels shattered the water where we had been sitting. We landed on a shore of black sand. Above us, the Great Library of the West loomed like a mountain of white marble. But it wasn't quiet. The massive doors were hanging off their hinges, and the air was filled with the sound of thousands of books screaming. Not like people, like paper being torn by a gale.

Giselle looked at the man not knowing why she was here. Uzair raised his hand and a book appeared. He opened it and started ready loudly. "F i r s t... l i f e. H e a l e r... n i g h t... j a s m i n e ... a n d... d i e d... i n... t h e... h a n d s... o f... w o l f... s p i r i t. S e c o n d... l i f e.

I bought our tickets and grabbed a map. "Let's go see the giraffes!" I chuckled and directed her toward their enclosure. Passing the elephants, alligators, and monkeys on the way. After seeing the giraffes, we began following a tour guide. She was wearing a green khaki uniform with her last night written on her chest. "Here we have the otters! Did you know that when otters sleep they wrapped themselves around each other and float on top of the water! We call that a raft!" She continued on about facts and such while others ogled over them.

I let out a nervous chuckle, clearing my throat. “Well… something like that. We were hoping you might help us answer some questions about werewolves,” I replied. Professor Kira’s eyebrows shot up, a spark of intrigue glinting in her eyes. “Werewolves, you say? How interesting.” I glanced over at Lyra, signaling that it was her turn. She leaned forward. “I’ve read your book ‘The Creatures beyond us’, and I have to say, you’re a phenomenal writer. I thoroughly enjoyed it,” she complimented, her voice brimming with admiration.

Comfy couches that were clearly more expensive than most of what I owned. Then there was the celestial woman sitting on the couch in front of us. She had the darkest skin I had ever seen. Beautiful cornrows pulling back her hair. In her hands was a book. Clutched as if it was her prized possession. Her eyes looked up at us. Lips tugged into a smile. "Ah, Farren, I was wondering when you would show your face again." The woman mused in an accent I couldn't place. Somewhere in Africa, that much I could make out. Farren snarled softly and stepped forward.

Nora asked. “Let us go to the animal park, I like to see giraffes. They are tall, cute and good to watch” the girl’s face lightened immediately on the prospects of seeing her favourite animal. She could remember how the teacher talked about giraffes, that memory was still engraved in her mind. “If that is what my baby wants, then we will go there right now. “Nora smiled. In a jiffy, he drove both of them to the park and they came across all types of animals. Maya was so happy, she had never seen her that thrilled.

he teased, tickling her side. I couldn’t help but laugh. “He means it’s an island off the coast of Africa.” Aspen’s eyes widened. “Is that where giraffes live?” Alec and I exchanged a glance before he said, “Close enough.” Alec then lifted her up and put her on his shoulder so that she could have a better view of all the animals. Her eyes were wide with excitement. She pressed herself forward on Alec’s shoulders, peering over the fences and into each exhibit like she was hunting for treasure.
