After the near rape incident the first few months I was there, we had the tattoos done on our left arm to signify we were all one, part of the same group. A sigil of each pack combined into one tattoo. A wolf’s head with long fangs for Venom Fang, the crescent moon above its head for Crescent Moon Lucius’s pack, The forest behind it for the Black Forest pack that Johnny comes from, a red river at the bottom for Dex’s pack the Blood River Pack and the night sky, for the Dark Night Pack where Brent is from. They all have the same one. Heading out into the living room, I see them all sitting around chatting and laughing when they all look at me.

“No.” I said firmly. “I must insist. Yo-” the doctor stepped forward “You touch me with that needle and I won’t be the only one with a concussion.” I threatened. “I saw your tattoo. You can’t be afraid of needles.” Janine said. Damn, I had a massive tattoo of my wolf on my back. She was pure white, which is a symbol of royalty. “What is your tattoo of?” Axel asked.

Being claimed by an Alpha of his strength while my body was already weakened by the heat had left me more sore than I wanted to admit. My heart’s pounding as I pull my top down from my shoulder and look at Shane’s mark that is now tattooed over my shoulder; it consists of a shield which covers my shoulder. It has a sword upon it with an intricate hilt. In front of the shield is a wolf standing protectively. Shane… the shield of defence… He was ready to protect everyone, and he died a true warrior… I brush my fingers down my tattoo. Right beneath it, I had his name tattooed too. I look at Jax’s mark on my neck. It’s darker than Shane’s was. It consists of a thicket of trees, black with hues of dark green, and through the trees, you can see the dark silhouette of a wolf with yellow eyes peering out from between the trees.

"Modesty is overrated. But if it makes you more comfortable, I'll find us some clothes. And perhaps some hot drinks? You must be thirsty after your ordeal." Without waiting for a response, he padded towards what I assumed was a bedroom, the muscles of his back rippling with each movement. I found my gaze drawn to the continuation of his tattoo – the wolf's body flowed into a landscape of jagged mountains and snow-laden pines that spanned his entire back.

The only word that came to mind was drool worthy. My eyes were drawn to the tattoos that littered his body. The ones that lined his chest and ribs caught my attention and I badly wanted to know what they were. My fingers twitched at my sides wanting to go over there and run them across the tattoos. He threw his shirt off to the side and turned fully towards me. I couldn't stop myself from asking. "What are your tattoos of?" "Oh these." He glanced down at the ones on his chest. "This one," He pointed to the symbol on his left peck. "is the Marine's symbol. And this says 'Move mountains or die trying'." He touched the quote that was on his ribs.
