Her Deceitful Love

Her Deceitful Love

he asked and her mouth remained sealed. “How can I not deceive you with my good when I know my worst would take you far away from me forever?” Flora teared up more, hearing him and her tears took him back to his senses. He exhaled a soft sigh and took a step back from her. “The dreams you want to live with me, I can never fulfil them without being deceitful, Ora because you want my trust and….” Flora waited for him to complete his words. “And my trust comes with my worst which would give you nothing but pain and tears,”he stated and then walked past her after taking a last glance at her.

Nice storyline! I love all your work, well written and very captivating. I wonder how many more chapters are left for this book? I usually don’t read incomplete books but this one is exceptional. I don’t like stories which are way dragged out with hundreds of chapters.

I finished this book yesterday. I will be honest haha. I had a love hate relationship with the story while I was reading it. Other reviewers said the female lead is a strong one, but it was not the strong that I was expecting. I was expecting Flora to dump Easton because of how he treated her.

she asked further. “Because I want the treasures, I'm your husband-to-be and I should be the one controlling our money and not you” he said, sweating profusely. Alessia's brows scrunched up on their own in disappointment. “I can see you're just being jealous. The safe box's contents are my father's family's treasure, something that is passed to every first born, I can't break the rule of giving it to an outsider” She spewed out without thinking twice.

The billionaire virgin wife

The billionaire virgin wife

This was personal, targeting what he held dearest, and the feeling was unfamiliar, corrosive. His instincts screamed that it was all false, that every word, every image had been fabricated. He knew deception. He had built empires on reading people, spotting cracks where others saw none. And yet, for the first time in his life, he felt that he might have been outmaneuvered. Even steel bends under pressure, and Damian felt the first tremors of doubt ripple through him.

THE GLASS WIFE; the storm he built himself

“Did you just say please? You use such a word now? What, had too much practice from the lies you told in the press conference this morning? First sorry and now please?” He stared at me. Confused. “I’m not that gullible, Eliot. Not like the people you can just deceive on social media.” “Deceive?” “Yes, deceive. Isn’t that what you did today? Why act all innocent now after your ‘properly arranged’ lies. A real good narrative, I’ll give you that.” “You think I lied?” He questioned, features tightened, “You think I went out there to say a lie?”

I love it when I see the female stand up for herself and make a decision of her own. BTW, why would Eliot divorce her just like that, like some trash. Anyway, I love the ex-regret I smell already. I am rooting for my gurl, Serena.

The Amnesia Deceit

The Amnesia Deceit

Nancy frowned and replied coldly, "It doesn't matter." "Yes, it does!" He wanted to grab her hand, but she pulled away from him. "I… I know I made a mistake, Nancy. I know I hurt you, but I realize I was wrong! We grew up together, Nancy. Please give me another chance, I'm begging you. I swear to God that I'll never hurt you again!" Evan's expression and tone sounded extremely sincere, but all Nancy could think about was the eighteen-year-old Evan. He was just as sincere and acted just like he was deeply in love with her. Yet, at the turn of the head, he made up this ridiculous lie just to trick her.

When Love Was A Lie

When Love Was A Lie

He looked at me, the complexity of his lie laid bare. "I didn't manufacture the lie about the Voidance Clause, Emmah," Damian said. "I merely transposed it. The decoy will did contain a Voidance Clause that would trigger based on our remarriage. Tasha warned me that if I didn't destroy the decoy, Declan’s lawyers would find it first, leak it, and the public panic would force the state to seize the assets, regardless of the real will's existence." "So you destroyed the decoy," I finished, putting the pieces together. "You let me believe you were lying about the clause, when in fact, you were lying about which document contained it. You traded one lie for a more dramatic, more motivating li

"After you sanitized your hands like I was diseased!" Henry's head snaps toward Declan. Something dangerous flashes in his eyes. "You did what?" "She's lying," Declan scoffs, but there's a flicker of uncertainty in his face. "Like you lied about what happened to the last waitress you harassed?" Henry's voice is deadly quiet. "The one I had to pay off to keep quiet?" My eyes widen. So the rumors about Henry being different were true. "This isn't about me," Declan deflects. "Your fiancée is an impostor. A cheap replacement probably paid to - "

I wondered. “Nuances,” he smiled with genuine enjoyment, his face lighting with the expression. “Fae cannot lie, but if their language tells you that they’re not telling the truth, is it really a lie? The language of deceit was initially developed as a literary device. It was their way of saying, this is an imagined story, and not a true event. When the cataclysm of mankind began, they evolved that language into one they use with man.” “And the Deceit of Elovyn is written in the language of deceit?” I puzzled it out. “So, it could be implying that Elovyn is lying, or just that the poem is a creation and not a true event?”

I loved this story that I did not want it to end. I would love to see Liera and Aurien's story continue from here although we do see snippets in your other books. I read this book often to remind myself that we all can fight through life's challenges with strength and determination. Thank you
Sarah.
I really loved the book, I wish there were more like it on this app. The characters are charming and the story is beautifully written, the premise makes me want to continue reading the other books. I hope there will be lots more like this one and maybe even longer

"What are you proposing?" She turned to the window, the city stretching out beneath her. "The people trust the narrative they’re given. We feed them a new one. Damien is not a hero; he is a criminal, a traitor, a man working with foreign entities to dismantle the nation’s infrastructure. We make him the villain of this story." "That’s not enough," Caldwell said, his voice edged with worry. "If even half of what’s in that leak sticks, we’re finished. I need assurances."

Deceiving

I ask with a growl, Jordan was right, I should see the other guy now, and Jordan is right he's in a much worse shape. "I see, you've sold me for this new guy," Joshua says sounding hurt, but it's fake hurt, he's lying, he's a good liar, always been one. "We were never a thing Joshua," I say annoyed with him, looking down at Jordan, he's still asleep, I don't want him to hear this. "But it didn't feel that way holding you," he says making me growl, he's making things up now. "Stop making things up!" I say, he's trying to gaslight me.
