Clay ended the call and sat on the bed in deep thoughts. Mary on the other hand was shivering in fright as she sat outside waiting for her brother to come out. Clay walked in much later, she stood up and rushed to meet him. “Clay don’t you think someone’s life could be in danger?” She asked looking up at him with big scared eyes. She was visibly shaken and he did not like seeing his sister that scared. He wished he could make her understand that the threat was for him and not for her.

Hannah closed her eyes, leaning back against the wall, her mind spinning. Clint was right, this was spiraling out of control faster than she could comprehend, but she couldn’t back down now. Not when she was this close to finding Lily, and unraveling the truth about the betrayal that had shattered in life. “Are you going to help me or not, Clint?” Hannah asked, her voice firm.
