I grunted, fed up with this whole day, and frankly not in the mood to deal with another wolf. Mr. Growly was enough. As I breathed in though, I couldn't help but notice how nice the nice the giant wolf smelt. There was the base line of lemon, but there also tints of honey and a spicy earthy overtone to it.
In short he smelt like black tea, and my mouth watered slightly at it.
I watched impatiently, as the wolf looked from it's pack mate to me. His eyes, fittingly a soft golden honey color, rimmed with an indigo circle. They were pretty and made me feel oddly warm, dulling my pain slightly.
