If I had a wolf, I would be following in a long family tradition. It was unheard of for a she-wolf to leave the pack. They always had mates, typically fated but if not, usually males would begin offering to take her as a chosen mate within a few months. If after two Mates Dinners, a she-wolf didn't find her mate, she could technically opt to go to college, as long as she returned for every Mates Dinner. But I didn't know of a single she-wolf that actually had. I had looked to see in the pack office last year, I looked at stats for pack members with college degrees.
