As I have stated this story will have multiple points of views. The next chapter will have the author's point of view in the first half and the Character's point of view in the second half. This story is going to have a lot of twists and turns hence I am using this approach of writing the story. Just making it clear so that it's not confusing for the readers. Also, Sydney might appear as a weak character to some. She is supposed to be weak. Not all women are born strong. They grow and gain strengths through their experiences of life.

You should not expect two people who have just finished a story to have the same point of view on the matter. Both of them are moving forward in their own ways. The other person makes the decision to abandon everything. The other individual is simply present, stranded, lost, and in search of hope.
