“Thanks,” I murmured, pulling the blanket tighter around myself.
The woman inclined her head again, this time more formally. “My name is Elsa,” she said. “I’m a seamstress.”
Something in her tone—professional, assured—made my pulse jump.
Elrik stepped forward, gesturing between us. “I brought her because,” he said, a hint of a smile tugging at his mouth, “it seemed you might need a wardrobe upgrade.”
