What a bunch grumps and it’s a wedding.
The vows are spoken clearly, without tremble. Rings exchanged. Applause follows. The coldest I have ever heard.
It’s done. An alliance sealed in under twenty minutes. Just like that, her life belongs somewhere else.
The after party in the evening has an entirely different vibe from the morning. It is louder, brighter and almost normal.
Because now, apparently, everyone can relax.
