What's My Percy Jackson Cabin Novels & Stories

“The eyes?” “The soul.” Jarek pinched the bridge of his nose. “Please don’t tell people that.” Number four lost spectacularly. Marcus blamed the jockey. We spent the rest of the races teasing him mercilessly. By the time the sun started dipping lower, we climbed back into the truck and headed farther into the mountains. And then I saw the cabin. “Oh…” The word escaped before I could stop it. Nestled among towering pines, the cabin overlooked a lake that reflected the evening sky like glass. A wraparound porch faced the mountains, and smoke curled lazily from a stone chimney.

“We’ll stop for ginger ale at the next gas station.” Kai leaned over, pretending to check on me, lips brushing my ear. “Don’t you dare come in these seats, little sis,” he whispered, so low only I could hear. “Not until I say.” I hated him but I wanted him to ruin me. By the time we pulled up to the cabin, it was dark, the snow was falling thick and silent. The place was gorgeous with timber walls, huge stone fireplace, floor-to-ceiling windows overlooking the mountains. And exactly two bedrooms.

I suggested and it was taking him long to answer. "But you said that my room will be next to yours." "That would be correct." "And will have deltas guarding our doors for added safety," Perseus added I nodded my head too. "Yes." "Then I'll be fine in my new room, Mama. You said that because Grandpa Codrus died, we'll now live here in the realm, which means that I need to get used to my new room." "B-But..." "Goodnight, Mama," Perseus said, and I couldn't help but smile amusedly as he dismissed me just like that. My pup still hugged me, but it was fleeting. Her skin barely touched me before he fled to his new room.

I tell him. “You know what you need, something fun, come on.” Shepard grabs my hand and leads me out of the pack house. He takes me to his small cabin that he’s been staying in since we got here. The cabin isn’t very big. It’s basically just one room, a bed in the corner with a small table and one chair. There’s a bathroom of course and a small kitchen area. I walk over to the chair next to the small table. “Oh! You know what that chair is actually really uncomfortable.” Shepard says. “Here you can sit on the bed, and I’ll take the chair.”

Or maybe she’s watching me. The mark I can’t escape no matter how Goddess-damned hard I try peels me away from the group and sends me through the small forest toward her. Her scent barely punctures the stench of blood, but I think I finally know what it’s like to be Candace. Right now, I could track it anywhere. Anywhere, apparently, being a low-slung cabin made of sun-bleached wood supported by columns of shell-studded stone. Xander stands on the porch, hands clenched so tight around the railing her knuckles are turning white.

I nodded my head, still reeling from what Nyx had told me. I’d stayed in the forest for an hour or so before going back to the small, three-bedroom cabin we called home. Thanks to the cash Beth gave us and some from King, we were able to rent the cabin. It was in a secluded area in the forest and offered us privacy. Of course, it wasn’t a permanent dwelling, but it was a start. “It doesn’t make any sense,” Raven whispered, looking at me as if she could figure out what the hell was happening.

No one knows about this place except Liam and Percy. It was a little tavern I had found one day while exploring the forest near the shadow colony. It was hidden away amongst the trees with wooden picnic tables on the deck. Hanging warm lanterns were the only source of light with the sun still clouded over. It was calm and quiet here. Although it was an amazing place, it was so well hidden that it wasn't very popular. “Where are we?” Cas finally asked. “We’re off campus, so you can put me down now.” I answered him, still very much cradled in his arms.

“We need a secure place where I can open this without triggering any failsafe.” I nodded, adrenaline surging as I realized there was no time to dwell on fear or betrayal. “The cabin,” I blurted out. Thiago’s brows knitted together. “Cabin?” “About a mile deeper into the woods,” I explained. “My dad used to bring me here when I was a kid. It’s secluded, and it still has power, last I checked.” Thiago gave a curt nod. “Lead the way. But stay close.”

"Good." The road ended at a wooden cabin that appeared to be only slightly larger than their SUV. A rickety wooden porch wrapped around the front, housing an admirable stack of firewood and what appeared to be a tent hung up to dry. They'd been at the canyon longer than he realized, because already the trees nearby cast long shadows across the little clearing. Twilight was closing in quickly. "This is it," Penny said. "My humble abode." "I like it," Xavier said. It suited her, honestly. Penny was the sort of girl that was more at home in nature than indoors. This cabin looked like it had grown right up out of the ground.

“Says the man who’s spent weeks playing puppet master.” He didn’t deny it. --- Racheal The air between us was thick with things unsaid. My chest ached, not from the cuffs, but from the realization that maybe — just maybe — I wasn’t as safe with them as I’d thought. I lowered my voice. “Where are we?” Damon exchanged a look with Lucas before answering. “An old hunter’s cabin in the east ridge. No one knows about it except us.” The implication was clear: I was hidden away.
