River whispers, turning her back to Tatum, who I stare at with longing. “Yeah.” I mutter. “But she can never know.” “She has a right to choose.” River says, looking over her shoulder, then up at me. “She deserves to know.” “I’m not a choice.” I say, grabbing a plate and loading my food up. River watches me with sad eyes, so I stop and look at her. “It’s an impossibility.” She scoffs. “That’s what everyone says about the Ghost Wolves. Yet, I’ve seen them. Impossible is just what people say when they haven’t found a way yet. So find a fucking way.”

But suddenly. “Mommy, Daddy.” A cry from a little girl echoes right in front of him and from the other end of the bridge. The night that is deep and quiet makes the crying echoes. The burning cars in front of them and the smell of intoxicating burns are raising. He stops crying, now pitying the little girl that just got his attention. He turns his gaze in front and saw the little one dressed in red, full of wounds, and crying hard. Her cheeks are red from crying and her nose seems to swell because of the same reason. The lights from the bridge made him see her clearly, or perhaps he is only seeing himself from her.

River Kenzie, thinks of herself as an average person, in most ways. However, since she had been saved as a child from drowning. She has a secrete she can’t tell anyone. Since that day, she has had a voice in her head. It even told her, her name, Realm. She can hear her in her head too. So, River doesn’t need to speak out loud for her to understand her. Maybe we can all play together later!” Antonio chuckled, giving River an approving nod. “Looks like we’ve got a future athlete on our hands.” After giving gifts to all the kids, Riley handed a neatly wrapped present to River. “This is for you,” she said, grinning mischievously. River took the gift from Riley, the weight and size already giving him a hint that it was a book. He eyed Riley curiously, noticing her mischievous grin, and slowly began to unwrap the neatly wrapped present. As the cover came into view, the title “A Book of Newborn Names” was boldly printed on the front. He blinked in surprise, momentarily speechless.

I walked straight up to her desk and put on my icy sweet smile. "Excuse me, I think we started on the wrong foot today. I'm River." I even extended my hand out to the b**tch. She eyes my hand like I'm some vermin and gives a tight smile, her red lipstick creasing. "Oh, I know you, Rive,r, and the fact you don't remember me makes it all the way worse. It's almost like you're mocking me." I arched an eyebrow in confusion and took a deeper look at her. Her face looked familiar to someone I used to know back, like way back.

“I can’t wait to get started.” They said their goodbye’s and within a few minutes they were back on the road. As they drove the scenery began to change. To the left they saw a river, iced over at the edges, but still some water flowed towards the center. Luca tried to get Zinnia interested in a moose grazing at the water's edge but she politely peeked and sunk back into herself.

She was just reloading. She came back with a dump truck. She drove it into the wall. Vroom. She came back with a stuffed penguin. She threw it over the wall.
