It has brought in feelings I never knew existed. I'm lost in confusion and some sort of excitement. The heat I feel inside is not familiar and is constantly intensifying as my mind races about the whole situation, trying to make some sense out of it. Like I can't find the right words to describe this thing I feel inside. It's weighing me down. The only thing I know is that whatever I'm feeling now, I don't want it to end. I can't afford to lose it. It's too sweet to let go. But on the contrary, I don't know what it means and I'm afraid about that.

We keep our heads down throughout. The closer I get, the more my skin begins to tingle. Fear? Yes. I am afraid. This is a dangerous mission; who wouldn't be? But this feeling is different from fear. It's like my weak wolf is scratching beneath my skin, itching to be released. It's the same feeling I felt before I shifted a bit. However this one is more intense. Like I can't breathe or think. Blood is rushing to my head and I feel a little light. What is this feeling?

************* Natalie's POV Do you know that feeling? That excitement that feels so good yet so bad as it eats at your stomach. You know what I am talking about, right? That giddy emotion you get after a date with someone you like so much. Those butterflies dancing in your stomach as he drives you home. You're both happy and sad, happy that it happened, sad that it's about to end. You got what feeling I am talking about, right? Yeah, I shouldn't be having that feeling.

My skin pebbles against a sudden chill I can’t find a reason for other than the strange, overwhelming sensation of feeling utterly, completely empty. This isn’t what it’s supposed to feel like, is it? People talk about finding their mates all the time. Hell, there are reality TV shows about it playing on an endless loop. How do they describe it? Tasting color. Feeling like you’ve never once felt whole until you see them for the first time? I feel… terror. Dread. Worry. All bad things that tangle and yank at my chest until I find myself breathless once again.

The muscles in his arms flex as he types something on his keyboard, and his brow is furrowed in deep focus. And God help me—he looks so good like that. My stomach flips and something pulses low, deep between my legs. I freeze for a moment, caught in the fire of it. It’s not fear. It’s something else. Want. It crashes through me like a heatwave. My face burns, and I know I’m blushing. I can feel the heat crawling up my neck and into my cheeks. I’m glad he hasn’t looked up yet. What is this feeling?

His lips felt warm against mine; it was tempting. Sighing, I wrapped my arms around his neck, moving my lips in sync with his, and he pulled me closer by the waist. I missed Vexon a lot. It felt like the emptiness of my heart just vanished. I felt myself again. What was this feeling called? Love? ###

Chapter 49 – Jayler I was feeling this electric energy rushing through my veins and it was everything that I didn’t know I needed today. I feel like I’ve taken some ecstasy even though I haven’t really had one to know the actual feeling of it in the first place. This felt relatively new to me in ways that I thought I already know the feeling of reading a feel good message from a certain someone and it turns out that this feeling is entirely different.

What the hell is this feeling? This is completely new to me. I don’t think I ever felt this way, not even once, during the whole duration of my relationship with Eugene. It felt good. It felt right and so wholesome! I felt excited and dizzy at the same time. My head and stomach is spinning widely and I swear I could picture some glitters sparkling all over Juno earlier. I sighed once again as I brought my palms on my face. I need to figure this shit out sooner.

My throat feels parched, as if I had been in the desert for days. "Are you okay?" Joshua asks, his eyes filled with concern. "What happened?" I take a deep breath, trying to gather my thoughts. "I don't know," I reply, my voice weak. “But I’ll be fine.” As I speak, I feel a tingling sensation in my chest, a strange warmth that seems to be spreading through my body. It's an unfamiliar sensation, one that fills me with a sense of unease. I hide the fact that I feel a weird sensation in my body. I can’t explain it. It's both painful yet uplifting. I feel very lightweight and free.

And somewhere in the fog of my mind… something flickers. Not a memory. A feeling. Old. Wild. Dangerous. Something that sounds a lot like love.
