Laila's POV I gasped and jumped at the sound, scampering towards it. I was inspecting its wing when a shriek stopped me in my tracks. I looked up just in time to see a massive shadow sweep across the flowers. “It’s the mother my lady,” Teal yelled and I raised my hand to show I meant no harm.
